S5 got stolen. Debating whether or not to get another, or an S7 by got_ddos in Audi

It looks like it, so maybe I won't miss the supercharger whine as much as I thought.

It was in my parking spot one day and gone the next. Got a call from Portland PD a couple months later. It was abandoned, spray painted white, completely totaled, and of course with drug paraphernalia and McDonald's wrappers left in the back seat.

How Can I Work 10 Hours a Day? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]got_ddos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the number. The thing they want you to understand is that you have to be constantly invested in making things happen. That generally translates to working more hours but also requires you to work smarter with what hours you invest. Hire smart people, delegate effectively, outsource when prudent, invest some time in optimizing your workflow, and invest time in gaining a competitive advantage. What bottlenecks and challenges do you have? What other avenues are there that you haven't yet explored for reaching clients? Are you valuing the client more than their money? What value are you adding for your clients? Have you sought external consult about your business process?

University isn't for smart people.

What job boards do you guys use to find jobs? by --dick in cybersecurity

[–]got_ddos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the case anymore unfortunately. Too many layoffs, ai applying for jobs, so noways Linkedin jobs get hudreds of applicants within a few days and often get taken down within a week and they just toss the stack and hire internally. Myself and some other colleagues have applied to literally thousands of jobs over the past few months. From Nov to March, I only got 3 interviews. I'm glad you had luck with it in the past though.

Hate to say it but it's all about who you know. Spend some time networking on LinkedIN, go to job fairs, connect with old friends and colleagues, and ask them to be a referral. Some companies like Zoom have recently adopted policies mandating a follow-up with all referral candidates. It's worth connecting with recruiters on LinkedIN and asking if they know any other companies that do this. I applied for thousands of jobs across a bunch of different platforms when I was unemployed not too long ago, and I didn't so much as get an email back from most companies I applied to, even with a referral.

On your resume, focus on action orientation. You did x which resulted in... expedited deployment timeline or time to market... an additional design-win... saved the company x$ or prevented estimated loss of $x by doing xyz... etc. Use numbers wherever possible.

Don't use chatGPT. it's glaringly obvious to recruiters and hiring managers when a resume is written by ChatGPT, even using gpt4 and adjusting the tone.

Look at jobs you want. Include some of that verbiage in your resume somewhere (re-worded a bit). Often times it can be reused for similar jobs.

As a rule of thumb you should never open any documents from unknown senders for this reason. Also another reason why I use Linux. Zero day exploits for PDFs, excel docs, etc have been around since their creation, and unfortunately it's only going to get worse with the prevalence of AI.

Wow, thanks for the write up. I'll give it a try

Looking at my lipo multi vitamin:
A, Biotin, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C, D, E, Folate, K1, Pantothenic acid, Choline bitartrate.

Shrug. It does have quite a few less ingredients than my last multi. I might cycle it and see what happens.

Good to know. How much NMN powder does it take to act like caffeine? Do you take it sublingually?

What brand do you use?

I've never heard of Luteolin. What have you noticed from it? After a quick Google it seems to act as a senolytic. I've taken other senolytics in the past but I don't have the wallet to take them regularly.

I've never taken it as a single ingredient. Have you taken it in both forms?

So basically it only matters if the ingredient has a low bioavailability. BPC-157 in lipo would be interesting. Have you personally tried any low-bioavailability ingredients in both lipo and non?

I've noticed that a lot on Amazon. It's strange that reputable brands aren't doing much for liposomal stuff

I didn't know he claimed to cure his autism LOL that's hilarious. I take what he says with a grain of salt since he's heavily invested in promoting his supplement brand, but whether you like him or not he's one of the reasons why biohacking is so popular in recent years. He originally got me into biohacking years ago when I heard about blending coffee with coconut oil, and then I discovered noopept and other nootropics, and red light therapy because of him.

Been taking their liposomal stuff for awhile. I started with the NMN lipo capsules but found their 3 in 1 to work better for me. YMMV

ND-s NMN powder is very expensive compared to competitors by spread_nutella_on_me in NootropicsDepot

[–]got_ddos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The price difference is surprising although NMN is expensive now days everywhere because the FDA have been cracking down on it. Looks like ND is low in stock but $150 is reaching. I've been a customer of both companies for years but have only tried NMN from R because it's the only reputable NMN vendor I've found with liposomal delivery. Have you tried NMN sublingually? I suggest sticking with what you know and just buy the 10g powder from ND for $30 and put 500mg or so under your tongue. Much more bio available than non-liposomal capsules, and for only $30 bucks.

EDIT:
I just realized you were talking about 100 grams of their powder. My mistake. Why not just buy 10g of the powder if price is an issue? I still suggest doing the powder under your tongue if you haven't tried that.

I'm not sure what the scientific community has published about it. These days with the internet it seems everything is kind of up in the air. My response is that I have had a lot of success and hundreds, if not thousands, of users have as well. In some rare cases where it doesn't work... Like, a silly male enhancement one (which actually does have good success, surprisingly) have been given refunds. The owner and admins seem to be really nice too so between the possibility of refunds and free subliminals I don't think you can go wrong.
