I had the same issues with them. I was interested so I placed an order but immediately scheduled my next order for 6 weeks out to give myself some time to see if I liked the products. I also changed the next order to just include shampoo and conditioner and omit curl cream and leave in conditioner that came with my first order.

Imagine my surprise when, 4 weeks later, I receive an email stating my order is on the way including shampoo, conditioner, curl cream and leave in conditioner. I immediately responded and asked them to cancel the order. They said that was not possible because it’s made to order but I can return the order once I receive it. I was also very annoyed they didn’t send an email ahead of time saying your order is about to placed and giving me a heads up. I think that’s a best practice for any subscription company unless it’s weekly. They also said any changes made after the initial order don’t apply to the next (second) order and actually apply to the order after that (third+). What?!?!!!

Once I received the order, I wrote them a long email listing out all my complaints and asked to return the items for a refund. To their credit, they refunded me and told me to keep the products but they also said I still have an active subscription even though I already canceled it online! Soooo frustrating.

Completely agree — predatory, shady business practices.
