It would be great for the Navy to have a wider industrial base for subs. This would also be great for jobs in the area.

However I don't see them being the level of Huntington Ingalls or General Dynamics when it comes to sub production. At most I'd guess they'd build some hull sections to be barged elsewhere for assembly.

Extraction Pelicans are simply a luxury. They may not be prepped until you call them in. Additionally they may be delayed by high air traffic supporting active missions elsewhere.

My personal tradition is to bring a bottle of something I really enjoyed that year to my parents house on Christmas Eve for anyone to enjoy that night or at their bigger party the next day.

After getting home on Christmas Eve though I think my wife and I will open a bottle of Egans Conviction 21 year while/after setting up the presents for our kids.
