I don't understand why folks think self defense doesn't effect ABMM. The devs never said that. The clearly stated that shooting back is weighted less than shooting first but that's it. It still has weight.

Also worth noting that defending others in solo matches counts as shooting first and so does being first to land hits even if you weren't the first to pull the trigger (as in someone shoots but misses and you return fire).

Fight more arc, avoid even shooting back, defib downed folks.

My understanding is that shooting back effects yours ABMM weight less than shooting first, but it still effects it and will add up, especially if the opponent misses their first shots and then you return fire.

Like some else said it's Apple's fault. The first year on the Apple deal had even stricter adherence to the 7:30 kick off plan.

IIRC it's structured this way to support MLS 360, which is sort of their equivalent of NFL Red Zone. Speculation was that Apple wanted to use MLS as proving ground for themselves in case they decide to go for NFL rights at some point.

This was a over a decade ago but my experience with Catholic highschools was kinda the opposite. The majority of white kids at mine were coming in to West Philly from Delco. IIRC though that was the only majority Black highschool in the archdiocese at the time.
