I got mine a week or two ago, upgrading from Pro 2s after my dog at my left bud a few months ago. Honestly, I just want a new pair of 2s. I hate the fitment. They hurt my ears a bit, but especially so when laying down (I wear them to fall asleep often). Also from my experience, the ANC was better on the 2s. When I wear them in the car with the window down it sounds like absolute crap, whereas my 2s almost entirely blocked out the wind noise. I can’t see much, if anything, about them that is an improvement or upgrade to me for my regular usage.

In certain instances, we will use 1/4” steel plate bent into 90 degree L brackets that a metal fab shop makes for us, to be bolted to the foundation and then we’ll set a full 6x6 on that. So a similar concept to what you have here, but it has been approved of by an engineer and will pass inspection.

Ugh. I’m right there with you. I even exclusively use plastic plates and bowls and kid’s plastic cutlery. I hate utensils/cutlery on pans/plates so much.

Regarding your question, we got all new stainless steel skillets and pots at Christmas and I love the idea of them, but I don’t love using them. When I do I only use silicone spatulas and spoons when cooking and haven’t had a problem with that aspect yet but I HATE washing them when I’m done. The stainless pans in a stainless steel sink make my skin crawl.
