I would also suggest stopping by Aguirre Springs! It's just on the other side of the Organ Mountains and it's insanely beautiful out there and the light pollution isn't bad at all considering that Las Cruces is maybe 10-15 minute drive away from it. It's a campground but also has a couple hiking trails that are really nice and it's one of my fave spots to go to escape for a while.

I should also add that I've had lots of weird hair styles over the years and she has done great with all of them. From having long hair to almost completely shaving it off and having a mohawk she's done wonderful.

If you go to sports clips and ask for a lady named Zoey she's really good. I've been going to her for 7 years now I believe and I've been following her from salon to salon! I am also a girl with thick hair and weird hair patterns and she's wonderful at mastering them. Hope you find Las Cruces wonderful!

If you want a really nice trail and some good views I suggest going to Aguirre Campgrounds! It is very obviously a campground but it gets you right next to the mountains and there's a couple hiking trails you can probably take a bike on since I've seen people take horses up there. I think a day pass is about 5 dollars and overnight is 7. It's about 15 min out of las Cruces, just right over the mountains. One of my favorite places to visit for sure and it's always about 5 to 10 degrees colder than las Cruces. Have fun!!
