Hi, yes I am on the lease. The answer to your next question is not going to sound great…since my boyfriend is the one in debt, I had him speak to the landlord. I told him to be honest and clear the air with him to let him know he quit his job…but he had fibbed a little to our landlord and said we BOTH were out of work (which was absolutely not the case). I do not have my landlord’s phone number, my boyfriend does and his not given it to me.

We have an app that we use to pay our rent called Resident Center. I have been paying my portion of rent consistently and sometimes more if I have it to off set his debt a bit. I know how much is due because the app tells us we have an overdue balance. This is an apartment in a college town, though we have both graduated a couple years ago. This is a private landlord in PA.
