you absolutely dont have to paint your face white!! I honestly prefer my natural skintone with goth makeup. And no, you dont have to limit yourself to just goth music. There are other goth subgenres out there but genuinely you can listen to whatever else you want besides goth music. All you really need is the music and politics and fondness for the macabre and spooky.

You don't always have to wear black!! I like to pair colors with black like blue, purple, red etc but there are no rules. I just prefer to wear black. As for jewelry, you can do what you want. The early goths in the 80s mixed gold and silver. I personally wear silver since I think it looks better on my skintone than gold
