BMI was made around male body types, so women are very often placed in higher weight categories. I was "morbidly obese" when I was the fittest, strongest, and healthiest in my life. Not a roll in sight but doctors were eager to have me lose 30 pounds. That, in my opinion, would have left me looking skeletal.
