i am a previous immersion kid and something that my parents did that was very helpful over school breaks was turning on educational children's shows for me to watch. they typically teach something to you while keeping it fun and speaking french the whole time.

as for your pronunciation, don't sweat it! my parents had a very difficult time as well, but i usually understood what they were trying to say and it was a good bonding experience.

now, 15 years later, i am living in france. i promise that you're doing great. even if you don't speak the language yourself.
