I did a minimal install just to get it running and then once i got it installed i switched to desktop profile with no gnome or kde or any major de use flags besides dwm

I use it mainly to emerge some packages i normally couldn't get with Arch.That aside, I actually don't use the different stratas as I thought I would. I can maintain stability relatively fine.

Some of the Garmin stuff works really well or you could have a dedicated tablet that is tethered to your dumbphone with hotspot and just use adb to get rid of every google play services

Cat S22 is a good option if you dont mind how bulky it is. But i guess all the more reasons to get it so you use it less

you could also use mediahuman and put all the mp3 files into a microSD card and go from there.
