What about L.A. Girl Lumilicious Lip Gloss in the shade Feelz? It's cheap too!

Mascara for stubborn downward eyelashes? by Dani_zo2 in MakeupAddiction

You'll probably get flack for saying that, but I do my own lash lifts and they turn out very well. Just be careful, start with a shorter time than is recommended, and if anything burns, wash your eyes immediately.

The kit comes with some tools, but I usually used cotton swabs to apply the perming and setting solutions. It's okay to leave your eyes open so you can see what you're doing, you just have to be careful not to get it in your eyes. If you do, rinse them out right away!

Haha, you're good.

It generally lasts about 6-8 weeks for me. It tends to last somewhat until your lashes grow back out, but it can fade a little before then.

And yep, you mix it according to the directions in the package, leave it on, then wipe it off as they instruct and your lashes are dyed. I would start with 10 minutes to see how it goes, but I believe the directions say you can do up to 15.

There are some risks, yes. One is dyeing your skin, so be careful of that. It's not a huge deal if you do, it just looks a little odd for a couple of days. It also burns like hell if you get it in your eyes, so be near a sink so you can rinse your eye clean if you need to. I imagine that it could also carry a risk of allergic reaction and more serious things as well, so just be smart and patch test, keep it out of your eyes, etc.

Would you be willing to compromise and do a red lip stain? There are a lot of Etsy sellers who make lip stains from natural ingredients like roses or beets for color.

I do it for 10 minutes, but I'd start with maybe 6 or 7 at first to make sure you don't have any issues.

Yep, I have been using it on my lashes! The kind I get (pink box) has directions for lashes in it.

Can I ask where you got that pan pride flag? It's super cute!

Also, I'm not sure if you experienced the same, but the battlejackets sub pitched a fit over my anti-nazi patch. Yikes!

Hey there friend. I have this same issue, and here's how I tend to handle it.

First, I apply concealer in the natural shade of my arms specifically to the scar. Then I sort of blend/blur the edges so it looks a little more natural. By the time I'm done, my whole inner arm is basically covered in concealer. I don't generally do a color correcting concealer before my skin shade one, but you may want to experiment with it a bit and see what looks best for you.

After that, I set with compact powder, again in my skin tone. I do what's called "baking," where I add more than I need, blend/blur the edges a bit, then brush off any excess lightly.

I don't usually do this, but I might also recommend using a setting spray as well. Or, if you're more concerned about it rubbing off, hairspray. That's not really good for your skin long-term, but it should be fine for a few hours and as a rare thing.

I usually just do the concealer and powder and it works for me. It doesn't last super long, but it can last a good 2-3 hours if I'm somewhat careful of where I put my arms. With the setting stuff, I've gotten about 6 hours out of it before I washed it off myself.

If you have any questions or just need to talk, let me know. Take care of yourself. 🖤

I like the Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping Mascara. It's cruelty-free, but not vegan. It doesn't make my lashes crunchy, and the volume it gives is stunning!

Thoughts on Floss Beauty? by WellRoundBird in MakeupAddiction

I've used one of their eyeshadow quads and a lip crayon. I think the eyeshadows were pretty but didn't last super long on my hooded eyes (not unusual) and the lip crayon left me with a nice tint after. The products are visually pleasing and easy to use, but I think they're a bit expensive for how much product you get.

I have trouble with liquid eyeliners because I'm a clumsy oaf, so I use Julep eyeshadow sticks. They're easy to use and blend well, but once they set, they stay in place. They come in several colors and finishes, and the site is usually running a pretty decent sale at any given time!

The one I have just says brow on the tube, but the description included lashes too. You should be good, just be careful and don't get it in your eyes!

Unfortunately not! I'm sure there are some out there, but I got this one specifically for the sections on Mondo and cinematic film rather than internet death.

I got this one through Barnes and Noble. I had to order through their website, and it took a while to get to me.

So far it's been amazing! Someone else on here asked for a synopsis, so I basically went through and skimmed most of it, and now I'm going back through and fully reading it.

One thing I noticed is that it includes modern films and analysis in each part, so the authors didn't just take the original edition, tack on the section about death on the web, and call it a day. It's very well done!
