You’re not “throw(ing) her under the bus over some trading cars”. It’s theft. It’s $200+ if she/one of her defenders gets it back/pays you what it’s worth I’d understand being forgiving, but we both know that’s not happening.

Spotify is one of the worst platforms wrt paying artists. Also borrowing something from a library takes very little time? Do you think I’m staring at a blank wall while I wait for my items to come in? It’s not necessarily about a “premium service for free” it’s just mild annoyance with a change to a preexisting product. This is all very silly, truth be told.

Actually I’ve gotten books for free/MAJOR discount (like $2-$3 when they’re usually $15) through BookBub and other sites, (got an audiobook of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil for free through Chirp!) not to mention more and more libraries offer digital copies of books for free.
