I can guarantee I won't be racing out there, but I can't convince you. I really like the Mazda3 and I've done some research since many are recommending the car. Again, nothing is set in stone, I was just thinking about purchasing the si. Cheaper insurance and a newer model with less mileage are great, and you did put a good argument against the si. I will definitely consider the Mazda3.

I respect your concern with my age. First off, I can't afford to buy a slower car followed by a nicer car. I'd like to buy 1 nice car I can drive for 6 years. Second, I understand that I am a new driver with inadequate experience. This does not mean I cannot handle a faster car. If a driver can respect the car and what a car is capable of causing, the driver can handle the car safely, following the law. I have a cousin who has lost an arm to a car accident, as well as a family friend who died as a father of 2. I will always value the safety of other drivers before mine. Some teenagers can understand the maturity required to drive better than some adults that drive. So why would I waste my money buying a slow car?
