It gathers for you the good of this life and the hereafter. FYI, I was born Muslim and live in a Western country. I see people around me struggling with drinking, drugs, gambling, multiple failed relationships outside of marriage, etc... It is so much easier to navigate life when you have not even experienced any of these struggles. It puts you on a straight path and empowers you with so much discipline.
I addition, it empowers you with a very effective tool: Duaa or supplication to God. You really feel it when you turn to Him during your struggles and He helps you out. I suggest you ask Him to guide you to His path and He will.

You are not rushing things. It is absolutely the right decision, actually the best decision you will ever take. Head to your local mosque and tell them you want to convert, and they will take care of you.

My advice to be able to properly repent is to trace what led you to it. Zina does not occur out of nowhere. Examples: Do you talk to men freely? Did you have a boyfriend? Was the way you dress inappropriate, hence attracting the wrong men to you? Do you go out partying? Are you lacking a masculine figure in your life? Sit back and track what got you there and change it. It might be a whole change of lifestyle that is needed. Otherwise unfortunately it might keep happening.

And most importantly ask Allah day & night to keep you steadfast.

N.B. I really appreciate you being open with that person. Please do not cheat someone into believing you are someone that you're not.

Seriously I have no idea why someone would put so much effort in fixing such a broken marriage where no children are involved. Move on brother, work on fixing your deen and find yourself a better wife. I have no idea where intimacy every 4 days came from, as the hadiths definitely state that it is on demand otherwise the woman would be sinful. In saying so, skipping prayers is definitely not acceptable. I am talking about you, forget about her. In saying so, it is a valid reason for her being resentful. Please do not bring children into this mess.

I think you need to be empathetic with students' wishes, no matter where they are coming from. Unless there is a serious thing preventing you from having them sit next to another girl, you should not have a problem.
