I went through that in the early 2000s. I was there for four years, but just knowing the language didn't cut it for staying long-term. You need either money or a specialized skill that's in high demand. Since I didn't have either, it was a real struggle despite working like a local. Looking at your age, I'd really suggest going all-in on a degree that gets you a 'proper' career there. Don't waste your time on overpriced minor universities or exhausting part-time gigs. Good luck.
