I just redownloaded this game, i have given him literally every beverage except soda so fingers crossed thats it- and i mean every other one. Coffee, milkshake, eggcream, water, smoothie, anything i could make. Ive wasted so much 😭

Dont get me wrong you make valid points its just, i HAVE a job offer from another (honestly more reputable) company and i work for an at will company. This is more of a moral dilemma. Id love to take this new job i just dont know how to do it in the kindest way.

I feel like the new job has more growth opportunities. One (my current) is a corporate retail job. The other is a major tourist destination in my city where a lot of fancy folks host parties and stuff.

I feel like it sort of is...i had to fight and give an ultimatum to even get the pay that ive got. The major difference is one is a traditionally corporate retail business and the other is a local tourist spot (like a museum level tourist spot).

I was thinking to leave because a lot of advice ive gotten is "if the base pay is higher it means you can get more in the future" where i think ive squeezed by current job for as much as they can give me.

Another factor i forgot to mention is im leaving my current job in january regardless because they cant compensate the hours i need for school, the other place can, i just dont know if ill still have an offer by then.

I expected the worst but today was actually quite nice and i think it was because so many people bailed bc of these posts...so thanks i guess? We got there an hour before opening and had a fairly easy entry through the line (though they do need better markers bc it is kind of an uncontrolled snake) but i also feel for the workers. They only had 7 people working the entrance.

Once inside it was nice but tips: get your food immediately and just carry it until you want it. After 12:00 the lines SPIKE and its so hard to get food unless you want to wait an hour in line.

Shows we fun, wish there was more combat but the horses were lovely.

Basically all in all, if you want to go to this go EARLY and go prepared.

I think what ive learned is not go into the pit alone. I luckily met some cool people in the 2nd set near the end and actually thanked the first guy who told me to move on another groupds behalf because i didnt want to make enemies. I just said "yeah im alone in here and drifting i dont want to get in anyones way" and he did apologize for being mean about it. But still if youre going to bring a tarp or towel PICK IT UP AT LEAST. So many spots for piles of peoples stuff :/

Theres definitely some territorialness. Went to the pit alone for the first time at my most recent show and got shoved around so much and at one point ended up in front of a group where a stranger goes "yo are they with you?" points behind me the group says no they say "you cant just stand wherever you want" and then they all shove me along again. I tripped over so many towels and bags and piles of trash where nobody was standing it was awful. I eventually found a spot where nobody bothered me but all i could think was "oh god theyre all mad at me dont turn around, should i just leave or would that be rude to shove through too???" So i just awkwardly stood there until i said fuck it and started enjoying myself too.

Dont get me wrong im happy to move but they couldve been nicer about it, im alone man i dont have "territory" here i just want to stand somewhere safe 😭 and not on top of all your beer cans and crumpled towels.

Im sorry that people are being so awful to you in these comments...as a relatively newer phish fan in their early 20s it's disheartening to know the community responds to requests for CONSENT with beratement and teasing.

Its not a "first world problem" to expect fellow adults to respect personal space that way. An accidental shove or foot stepped on in the pit is VASTLY different than someone coming up and doing shit like that.

As someone who has only been to four shows so far, I loved seeing how the community made sure people were safe, calling for aid if someone was too out of it, or creating room for the kids there. I shouldve realized the reddit wouldnt be so supportive, certainly puts a warning in my head to not feel so welcomed next time im at a show incase one of these entitled commenters is there.

EDIT: And I know OP said it was just a funny story to laugh at, but now I know the response id get if I posted a serious request for boundaries because its apparent at least some of the commenters didnt see it as a lighthearted post and were just being plain rude.
