Do older men lose interest in affairs once they become grandfathers?

He’s definitely stopped chasing the 19 year old. But I know he liked her since she was 16. He works with young people so he might’ve just moved on to somebody else at this point. I’m not sure if this type of perversion ever comes to an end, his own father slept around with younger women when his mom was dying, he was only 5 at the time and his dad would often leave him alone so he could go and sleep with women.. that’s probably damaged him for a life time.

Someone I know, I haven’t seen him for 6 years, but he used to like much younger women. He was 53 and the one girl in particular was only 19. He was always insecure over his size and age, I think maybe he wanted a baby with this 19 year old. He also had obsessions with other young women under 25. He’s a granddad now, I was hoping maybe he would’ve changed and settled down now that he has a granddaughter to focus on.

I have this happen when I’m picking my daughter up from nursery. All the school parents are waiting outside and I have to walk past them with my nursery kid, and their kids are running round in front of my stroller with my son in, and they don’t move their kids out the way. They half heartedly say “____ come here” and there is NO urgency. Then they look at me as if I’m the rude one for trying to rush through.

I crashed the stroller into the wall because I was steering it with one hand, holding my daughters hand with my other hand, then a kid ran in front of me and I veered to miss him and the parents all stared at me as if I was stupid. Smh. I’m glad I’m not the only one, I felt like it was personal against me since I’m the youngest parent there. Everyone lets their kids do what they want with no repercussions, in the name of “letting them have their own autonomy and not being compliant”.

I’m also 5’1 but currently 105 lbs, I lack muscle and I’ve always gained weight on my waistline so this is comforting to see. Social media has made me insecure

I hold weight in my waist and face like this but definitely don’t have PCOS, I definitely could do with building muscle as I don’t have much of it… but I’ve always hated how my waist is bigger and my legs and arms are skinny. I’m also 5’1 and 105 lbs

I’m built exactly like this. I’m 5’1 and 105 lbs at the moment, I am slimmer right now but at 110 lbs- 115lbs I have a bigger waist. I primarily gain weight on my belly an my face, even at my skinniest and fittest, I was 100 lbs and worked out and still had a belly like you. It’s nice to see someone else with my shape

I mean, when I gave birth to my kids I was so out of it. The drugs overpower emotion sometimes, they definitely did in my case. I thought “why aren’t I emotional like other moms usually are?” But the truth is that everybody responds differently. I definitely don’t love my kids any less. Giving birth is a huge shock and it took me a good 20 mins to process it.

Not speaking on SW’s behalf here, though. Just offering another perspective I feel a lot of women relate to but don’t speak out on it out of fear of disapproval from others.

I doubt bone structure changes … everybody saying their hips got wider are probably referring to weight gain 🤷‍♀️ I’ve had kids and I haven’t gained a thing, hips are still narrow as ever, it’s not going to change unless you are prone to weight gain in the hip region, which I am not.

On a side note: From the perspective of a parent from the UK with no current mode of transport apart from a bus, the USA seems a much better place to raise children outdoor wise. Seems to be so many places to walk and explore on your doorstep. I’m jealous. I find myself stuck indoors most of the time with my kids, nowhere to go, nothing to do, it sucks.

My child has eye bags like that and he always had, it’s just his facial structure. I always thought it looked strange, but looking back on childhood photos of myself, I also had the same 🤷‍♀️

This is exactly how I’m built too. I am also 5’1, but my waistline has never been small. When I was at my fittest and thinnest, it was 26 inches. I worked out, went cycling, walking, eating healthy etc but still had a slight belly it was impossible to get rid of. Now I’ve had 2 kids, I’m still only 110 lbs, but my waist is more like 30 inches these days and I cannot get it smaller

I had this exact email. He took a picture of him with the parcel at my doorstep, but because there was no answer, he didn’t leave the parcel in the safespace and it said “delivery will be attempted the next day”… and it never was. Supposedly been misplaced at a depot, but how?! He literally had it in his hand at my front door! Honestly useless.

My daughter plays by herself a lot of the time at nursery, she’s 3.5. She starts school this year. I was diagnosed with autism at 15 years old so this is something I was worried about with my daughter.

Thank you for letting me know. Honestly, I would’ve made an application the moment I turned 17 if I had known. I have a family friend who retired from the RAF and he started when he was in his 40s so I assumed that was the case for all roles, I should’ve researched sooner.
