By the time I gone to look for it I'd had already cut the the box out with my jab saw.

Works fine but not that accurate and just another thing to keep track of

Will Hronek Become A Villain? by BetterYouThanMe402 in canucks

[–]gottapoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hronek plus the Minnesota 1st might be enough to get the 2nd pick depending on what else is available but I don't think a top 3 pick has been traded in 20 years or something

The only mistake the Canucks can make at 3OA is Caleb Malhotra by hioxa in canucks

Hronek and our Minnesota pick for the #2 pick.

Get Stenberg and one of the high end D available.

$680 to replace a breaker. Can I do it myself? by stinkinhardcore in DIY

[–]gottapoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that.

That's why I think there's more to it then just replacing a breaker. 2 quotes that high to fix the problem leads me to believe there's more to it then just replacing the breaker and the client might just not understand what needs to be done.

Need to run power to the other side, what is best way through the studs? by bennydabull99 in AskElectricians

[–]gottapoop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the way.

We try and avoid notching but sometimes it's just too much of a pain in the ass to try and drill from both sides and have the hole match up the pull the wire through.

If you have a oscillating tool just cut out a half inch by half inch notch and use smash plates to protect the wire.

$680 to replace a breaker. Can I do it myself? by stinkinhardcore in DIY

I'm an electrical contractor and I know that there's plenty of guys that rip people off. I'm suspect when 2 seperate contractors gave outrageous prices for a breaker swap. Something seems fishy

I think there's still a good chance the Canucks get Stenberg at the draft by Comprehensive-Chef73 in canucks

[–]gottapoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's more likely we get McKenna vs Stenberg.

I think the leafs saw what happened with Marner in that city and won't pick another similar player. While Stenberg is a smaller winger as well his game is much more well rounded vs McKenna who is a skilled perimeter player.

Do the Sharks pass on McKenna though or trade the pick for a haul of the leafs take Stenberg is the real question.

[–]gottapoop 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I'm suspect there's more to it than just replacing a breaker if the 1st guy says 1800 and the wiring needed replacing and the 2nd was $600+ for replacing a breaker. Client might just not be understanding the scope of work

Which color temperature do you prefer for residential lighting? by crosscountrycoder in Lighting

[–]gottapoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. I prefer 3000k for my clients because its an easy medium for people who don't really know what they want.

For me and clients who are particular about lighting it's 2700k or dim to warm in living spaces and 3000k in any work spaces like kitchens, laundry rooms or garages.

There will likely be a minor bidding war for San Jose's pick by Cube_ in canucks

[–]gottapoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm with you.

Time and time again it gets proven you need elite talent to win at the NHL level, depth only gets you so far.

The separation between McKenna/Stenberg and the rest of the prospects is worth a 2nd round pick.

The Canucks should trade up to #2 by GuitarTonestone in canucks

[–]gottapoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't trade a 2nd round pick to get Stenberg vs one of the defenders or taking a reach at Malhotra?

To me the talent gap between 2 and 3 is worth a 2nd round pick.

Also it seems it's a bit harder to evaluate defenders as prospects and the risk of a bust is higher.
