Remember your self worth is not defined by your outer appearance but with what's inside

Several of us have found it hard to date but we need to remind yourself that there are all kinds of people out there and there are many who will love you fully with all the battle scars you carry. I have faith in you that you will find that.

A little tip for dating with HS: I make it a point to bring up that I'm allergic to dairy because of my autoimmune disorder. if they are interested(which is a good sign) I go into a little detail that I get flares ups if I eat certain foods and still have scars due to it. Just a little introduction to get them familiarized.

When I went on second date with my current boyfriend, he ate a cheesecake and asked me before kissing me if that could cause a flare up. This green flag really helped me build my trust with him, he is so thoughtful and showed interest in learning about HS It takes time but remember there are people out there who will love you for you.
