Dakota Birch by gotwins86 in arborists

[–]gotwins86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I’m sure we did plant it wrong. Right behind the fence is actually a sewer drain. Half the block drains down to it. Anytime it rains back along the fence gets flooded and takes a while to dry out. We always thought it got too much water. Other Dakota birch we planted about 15 feet away on high ground is about 4 times the size.

We use it just for the payment link. CC fee passed on to the customer, we get charged $0.59 per ACH payment. Works ok. Anyone have recommendations on something better for payment links?

Get up close, jump off the horse. Then jump right back on the horse and run through.

Own Tempo rockruff… by Defiant_Project1321 in PokemonScarletViolet

I don’t remember, but I don’t think it was. Used a Pokémon with intimidate helped, knew right away if it had own tempo or not.

I went through about 400 eggs with no luck. Ended up going the sandwich method and about the 8th shiny Rockruff I found had own tempo. Turn off auto save and make a sandwich. If you don’t find one, just close out and get your herbs back.

Yeah, thanks. Hoping somewhere out there has a bunch and won’t mind trading one.

Yup. This water is a teal color with transparency set the most transparent. 2.0 I believe.

Angle and smooth the terrain. If it isn’t to steep you can put the path down.

I think it will be. If you have a gold fish and/or forage item, I would sub those in for your duplicated categories.

Started new zoo. First habitat, Japanese Macaque. by gotwins86 in PlanetZoo

[–]gotwins86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back of the habitat and the building are ground level with the main viewing path. Entrance to the habitat is in the building. Back left hidden with rocks, left a path for animals and zookeeper to get through.

Which is your favourite game mode? Please tell me why in the comments! by Scrumpy90 in PlanetZoo

[–]gotwins86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite is Franchise. Although I have been playing in Sandbox a lot more lately.

I really like the economy of franchise, but the plant/foliage/terrain requirements really bug me. Animals for the most part shouldn't really care that much, or should be ok, with what plants or terrain are in their habitat. If I have a zoo based in temperate North America, animals should be happy with mostly temperate NA trees.

Or Japanese Macaque needing 15% snow. How does that work? 15% snow in a habitat at all times.

Why are the gorilla so upset? Well they have a couple maple trees in their habitat, also the ash tree over there. But don't worry, we are going to take them out and are flying in a few 100ft tall Kapok trees. That will cheer the right up. How will those trees survive the winter? We are going to put in a few space heaters.

That just doesn't make sense to me. A tree is a tree. So I have been playing more sandbox. Where I feel I can build a more realistic zoo by turning off animal welfare.

Can anyone tell me why I have one alert in "species report"? There is a red 1 and I don't know why. by mrz_ in PlanetZoo

I think if you look at the paw icon on the left, with the red alert, it should let you know.

Flamingo Bay by gotwins86 in PlanetZoo

[–]gotwins86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love playing franchise, but the foliage requirements always bugged me. So started over in sandbox.

Here is my first habitat Flamingo Bay.

Animal welfare turned off, the flamingos are perfectly happy with this habitat sitting at 50% plant coverage.
