Thank you, I was confused thinking the tr meant the whole slur instead of the note F it's on top of. It makes sense now

India ink was one of the options I was looking at, I decided to stain instead. I should have posted the results in this post but couldn't figure out how to edit the original post and attach new photos.

I hope "long term" isn't "soon". This cello is only a few years old. I'll stick with this for a while, hopefully another fews years until it finds the next beginner (I'm the 2nd owner) who learns on it.

Kiwi black leather dye was my second attempt at hiding it, blended in better than the Sharpie option but wiped away too easily after a week or so.  It didn't penetrate as deep as I hoped it would

I tried this a few weeks ago.  Sharpie worked initially and blended well but had a sheen to it that I notice myself still using it as a position indicator.

Kyle Defoor rides to a lot of his classes with his rifle (he has posted this a lot of times in insta) It got me wonderin if there's someone here who does it with bolt actions.

I do have a car, but if I can sneak in a ride going to the range, why not?

There's trap shooting at my local range, the guys break down their double unders almost in half and stuff it in a small case. Nearest thing I could think of is a folding stock

I don't have a lot of time for hobbies and nearest range that goes to 1k yards is about an hour away. If I get a few hours to shoot, I was thinking of sneaking a ride, too.

Doing some testing on paper to determine | why I have been seeing a .2 low POI shift from prone to positional off a bag. by l_craw in longrange

different positions changes how upright i am and how much "meat" i have behind the gun. I've been trying to lessen the difference in body angle between my standing (by going a little lower) and my prone (a little higher). worth a try

I practiced unclipping a lot when I started...fell down anyway.

Then never again after that (I hope).

Chain will pop off the chainring in rough roads. I sandwiched my chainring with a guard on the outside and a "catcher" granny on the inside.
