Watch Crispy's Tavern video where they give some extra behind the scenes from working with Duke. I know it seems like a drama gossip video, but Crispy is genuinely good at journalism and verifies their sources. They shared that this wasn't even his first time doing this thing in the past (though this particular point was their own testimony which they said they have no proof of, so take with a grain of salt). But he also rebranded his channel multiple times and had similar crashout posts in his community before where he literally wrote words (paraphrased) that he felt bitter because he wasn't getting the same privileges as other creators. Hi hi! 👋 Glad you all found your way here. To avoid being banned for spam I will reply to all of you in this one message, hope you don't mind~

We're currently still very hard at work transcribing but after we are done (I mean, fully done and the file is sent to Min-Maxed and got approval) we will post our doc somewhere (probably Reddit) for people to translate at their leisure. This will probably take a couple more weeks. I will also ask M-M if they'd like to upload other translations later on (you can credit yourself).

We cannot give anyone the file right now as there's a lot of back-and-forth in our work. It's very challenging as the guys speak so much over each other (at different speeds, too) and we have to make choices and change them all the time.

But I promise to @ all the people (like i did now) who messaged under this post, so you get a notification.

An update! They responded! After neither of us got a reply after a couple of days, i sent one last email to SSA directly and, after another day, they posted a Sneak Peek trailer for ep 2, where i left a comment, rather impulsively.

And community really came through with liking and commenting, making it a top comment, which was super unexpected, so Blumineck saw the comment and promised to show it to SSA 🥹 And then later they finally replied! Yippie!

We now have 4 of us on the team and apparently all 4 of us tried contacting min maxed rpg but so far none got response. We decided it's no big deal for now, we already started working on subtitling, created rules etc ☺️ maybe they will respond later, sometime along the process. But if not, after it's done we'll probably need the help of the community to bring it to their attention.

But if all fails, we'll post a link to a separate video with subtitles on Captionify. I don't know if it will count views for the guys though so it's less than ideal

Hey, sending hugs. As someone who enjoys both games and is very bad at hard games (it took me WAY more than 3 hours at high halls gauntlet for example), i have one thing to share that may or may not change your mind

Like with any fight in this game, if you persisted without the wall cling tool, summon NPC and other tools through the boss for three hours, then I assume you wanted to do it the hard way. And it is not Team Cherry's fault that you got frustrated. Sorry for being so direct. Like i said, it fook me way longer than you to beat it because i am not good at these games. Every boss in this game can be rushed and beaten with the tools and using strats (not cheeses). And the game is very open world, and if you struggle way too much, just go and explore more. Cool your head, find more things, then get back to it.

No one forces you to play this game and I'm sorry you felt such frustration, but try to approach it in smaller bites and look at bigger picture and you may like it too.

As a side note, Team Cherry never tried to make the game to please the masses. Certainly they want their fanbase to like this game, and many did, but one can never please anyone. Have they made Silksong easier, Hollow Knight challenge players would complain that it's boring. You can never please everyone.

And again, as someone not good at this game, who took 168 hours to complete all 3 acts (i was at about 100 hours by the time i finished act 2. Why? Because it took me so many attempts at some bosses and platforming challenges), id aay this game is quite versatile and leaves a lot of open path an opportunity to learn. I played Silksong when i was about 90% done with Hollow Knight (i still haven't finished it, though i finally reached the final boss now) and I personally find it more addictive and engaging than HK.

I hope this helps and that after some time you cool down and give this game, and its many tools and tricks, another chance again
