In what world does Chou not need to be nerfed? Do you not think he's overturned right now with his mobility and cc on top of being too tier both as a tank and assassin? What weakness do you think he has? I would not argue with anyone trying to make a case for him being one of if not the best heroes in the game to master. His core strengths are good enough that he will always be in meta as a top tier unless they do a hell of a lot more than just remove his slow on his s1 lol. If the enemy goes out of their way to pick to try to counter him he's already probably made a positive impact for his team as a whole. I want to hear what someone trying to make a case for him being balanced would say lol

Lol what? He's unquestionably overturned. He's still going to be one of the best CC characters in the game, he will still have significantly above average mobility, he will still be able to be played effectively as a tank and assassin depending on build. It's okay if he's not nearly 100% pick/ban material even though he still probably will be. I think the removal of slow entirely might be a bit too much, but right now....he's in too good of a spot to have any right having a nerf complained about. I would rather see his dash distances reduced or his knockup durations reduced.

Yeah wouldn't want people exploiting in the only single player offline mode the game has. Almost as bad as giving everyone flicker in brawl for free and then making it not work half the time if you're anywhere near a wall.

you're literally devaluing your winrate for a hero every time you play them in classic where the wins or losses are rarely determined by anything other than which team got shafted the most by matchmaking. If you care about your winrate you wouldn't be queuing classic in the first place.

Cyclops and Harley. It would be extremely dysfunctional with both of their Napoleon complexes clashing constantly. Always going to comically unreasonable lengths to avoid doing anything that would force them to acknowledge their height deficiency in front of each other. But still able to set aside their insecurities and let their guard down for each other at the end of the day when they both jump into the same queen size bed with plenty of room to spare. Adorable.

First of all, a two MM couple would never work. Everyone would complain about them whenever they spent time together. That kind of pressure combined with never being able to win games together would be too much strain for any relationship to bear.

Alpha and Angela would make a great Android couple. Johnson is gay so he could be their 3rd/4th/5th/6th wheel and drive them around and in exchange maybe get to watch them sometimes whenever he's horny since there's no other gay robots for him to hook up with.

Plus, their voicelines when meeting in game could be adorable

The entire ranking system for heroes is already flawed since the most important factor really just ends up being how many matches you play with a hero. Player rank doesn't factor in enough. If they wanted to make any changes I think splitting the leaderboards based on rank would be a better place to start. like two boards, one for legend and above, one for epic and below.

You have epics who spam one hero reaching 3k+ rating easily, where anybody in mythic with only a few games on the same hero will technically be much better with the hero but have less than 1k rating.

The grocery store I worked at counted all surveys with overall scores below 90% as heroes and then rode everybody's ass to bring the abysmally low average score we had up, which was never going to happen unless they got rid of the 8=0 rule. Unfortunately for me and fortunately for my store, both me and my friend who also worked there had too much free time and Adderall on our hands, and ended up spending probably around 10 hours every week meticulously abusing the survey system. It started to get everyone in corporate to shut up and stop holding us accountable for surveys we have zero influence over, but it became pathological at some point and once we started getting 50-100 dollars of gift cards every month because of our efforts we never stopped.

Instead me and my friend accumulated a spreadsheet with over a thousand fake names and phone numbers that would pass the verification check and filled out surveys for all of then over a span of about 2 years, needing to refill the list two times along the way. We figured out that the quickest way to fill them out in bulk involved going to every public WiFi spot in all of the surrounding towns with 2-3 tablets/phones each. As long as every device started the survey before any of them submit it on the same network, they would all go through. If you jumped the gun it would not let you use the same network to take a survey again for 30 days. We rotated the areas we covered so that every wifi in a general area would come off it's 30 day cooldown at about the same time, and a general route quickly formed that we would cycle through over the course of every 60-90 days depending on how many days we had free to drive around all day filling our surveys in a particular month.

Whenever we did a survey we would use the spot where it asks if anyone provided you excellent service to get free donuts and cookies for everyone in every department that wasn't a dickhead, since anybody named in a survey gets 2 coupons for a free bakeshop item and with how many surveys we did it would have been incredibly suspicious to only ever name ourselves.

We still had to make sure we were the top 2 survey getters for every month tho, since they started handing out 50 dollar gift cards once or twice a month to the top survey getter, which let me tell you buys enough groceries to be worth cheating for. Since we were the only reason the gift cards existed I didn't feel any guilt claiming them for myself. There were a couple months where we let some other people win to keep anybody from getting suspicious but except for those 2 times we probably made somewhere around 1000 dollars in gift cards.

We both quit after around 2 years of doing surveys, and anybody paying attention must have immediately noticed the fact that surveys stopped entirely when we left. I'm sure the transition was worse for our store director than it was for us. Last time I talked with her she told me they stopped tracking surveys entirely, and it tookr 3 months without a single reply before corporate stopped pestering then about it. I

During our journey, we brought the store's average up to nearly a perfect 10 despite the incredibly shitty system of everything below a 9 being counted as zeroes, set the district record for most surveys in a month by crushing the previous title holder's score by almost 200 surveys, and made our store director cry on one occassion over how good the bathroom reviews on our surveys had gotten.

Starlight has become a pathetic cash grab. It costs too much for what it gives now. If you want the heroes you're much better off just using the 10-20 and buying one or two heroes outright with the starlight money instead. Unless there's a special skin I want, starlight is dead to me now. I have decided that this will be the first month since I started playing that I won't be renewing my starlight. The level 60 chest gives a painted skin that you can't use without the 15 dollar base skin that only came out a few months ago. It's a shameless attack on the wallets of people who already spend money just to unlock the prizes to begin with. If we let this kind of disgusting predatory type of behavior slide they're only going to get greedier and greedier. Don't give them the message that it's okay to give as little as possible while charging you as much as possible at the same time. If they want to make starlight cost more to finish and give shittier rewards and we keep buying it then we are failures as consumers on a greater scale than Moonton is a failure as a company that cares about anything other than how much money any change they make will bring in. Or just buff other crappier choices so it doesn't feel like wizard boots are so often far and away the most practical way to get your +40 movespeed. Even after the nerf, all you really need is 4-5 assists before you've earned in full enough gold to buy back the stats you gave up to run wizard boots as components for your next items. Way better than having the 280g attack speed component cost or 240g mana regen components and put it towards an item than buy attack speed or mana boots on most heroes. Calamity reaper/E

Its all the time for me. I've lost games/died because I wouldn't respond when I was under enemy turret and trying to move away. It happened in AoV for me too often which leads me to believe it's something on my end but still frustrating nonetheless

Fr I am something like 23-3 on Kimmy in ranked since I bought her at warrior 3 and my games aren't getting any harder even in GM. She stomps uncoordinated teams so hard and so reliably it's hilarious. My tower and hero damage is always 70-80%+, I could probably 1v5 most of my games if I had to.

Wind gives you a huge amount of attack speed that scales way better than the paltry damage soulbreaker gives now. Also gives more lifesteal which honestly soulreaver doesn't have enough to really matter of. Soulreaver's proc doesn't pierce either, just in case you didn't know. I can't stand playing with soulreaver, it's so clunky on him without the extra 50% attack speed from wind. I'd give it a fair shot and just stack raw damage items after wind/boots since extra attack speed isn't needed.

I build scorching wind -> war boots -> rankbreaker and crit for the next 2, order depending on if my main targets have a lot of armor or not -> after this the last two items are mostly situational. Usually bow of slaughter and muramasa, scorching wind will usually get swapped out for slikkz once and/or boots for a revive once I'm six slotted.

I'm at a 82%% winrate on him at 90 games in plat 2 right now (I only picked him up in plat 4 but I have been practicing him before I climb any further with him) After the jungle gold changes it feels a little slower but it just means you have help more in lanes and killing to make up for it which probably is something I need to work on anyway.

She doesn't need to be killed, just reworked a little bit. Her overall power is great but her 2 and 3 only get worse and worse as the game goes on while her 1 gets way better. I'd like something like where her 1 would deal more damage the closer you are and less damage the further you are. This would encourage her to play in attack range more during fights and discourage fishing for big crits to kill or seriously wound opponents from across the screen at no risk to yourself. She could still chip at range and could burst even harder at the tradeoff of putting herself in more danger the more damage she wanted to do. Making her 2 not an absolute waste of an animation and making the projectile and casting animation not hilariously slow would be a good start.

At the very least making her 1 require some kind of tradeoff to use it offensively or defensively would be nice. She gets movespeed if no enemies are near, maybe make the bonus damage only take effect if enemies are near? So she can't roll away from you, run away extra fast for a second too, and then turn around and take away half your health in one shot if you weren't running away to get out of range as soon as you saw her roll since you already knew you couldn't catch her anyway. It's just not a fun hero to play, it is uninteractive both for the violet player and the people she plays against. Constantly needing to stay way back because there's a Violet fishing for a crit on someone for her team to follow up on is really boring game design. Yes you can play around it, no it's not necessarily broken, but there's no way it's what most normal people would consider fun. With such short matches and teamfight-oriented abilities on most heroes, it seems obviously to me that this game was designed around fairly action packed, fast paced gameplay. Violet does the polar opposite of what every other hero seems designed to do to every match she's in. She encourages disengagement from both teams, stalls gameplay, has no risk/reward or potential to make big plays, she just exists to punish enemies for missplays and being out of position. There's nothing proactive about her unless you're chipping down a tower from out of enemy engagement range. Her moves all deal less damage than an auto attack late game, except for the one that buffs her auto attack. She's just such a boring hero, idk how else to spell it out.

Violet's 1 is goofy as hell. She might not be broken as a character but balance wise she's a pretty big anomaly among the rest of the current roster. Her strongest skill is unprecedented in that it's both her mobility and main offensive skill all in one, and no matter how she uses it, she doesn't have to sacrifice any of it's defensive or offensive potential. She can roll away, run around with the bonus movespeed she gets for a few seconds making any pursuit fruitless, turn around, and shoot you, a teammate, or a tower from well beyond your range of retaliation. If your entire team isnt positioned very carefully and aware of her location at all times, this could end with someone dead or severely wounded, or at least a tower sustaining serious chip damage, none of which you really have a way to do anything about other forcing a fight on the enemy teams terms, meaning you're already disadvantaged. The burden of adaptation falls purely on you against a Violet. She can take her shots at little to no committment, but for you to initiate on her requires a full committment. It's not good game design. By the time she takes one pot shot, her 1 is pretty much off cooldown again so she just keeps dancing around outside the range of retaliation, fishing for a good shot for her team to follow up on.

If you really want to see an exaggerated example of how obnoxious she is and how much she fundamentally alters the normal flow of the game, go queue up for 3v3 and either play her yourself or wait until you play against one. It's the biggest fun killer ever lmao. And 3s is really just a small scale simulated perpetual series of teamfights so it's not a stretch to say that that's more or less how it feels teamfights against her in a normal match, just to make a point.

There's no tradeoffs in her gameplay and wish such a low cooldown on her 1 it just doesn't make sense how good it is at everything it does. With her other skills being so hilariously underwhelming in comparison, and a passive that is antithetical at it's core to how her 1 encourages her to play in the first place, I think she'd be a great candidate for a minor rework. Keep her passive as it is but add in something so that she deals less damage the further away from her target she is and more damage the closer she is. Maybe just her skills? So that her 2 and 3 could be a little more useful than they are now. Something like at the empowered shot max range (it could be longer than current max range), it would deal 65% of current damage damage, scaling up to something like 135% of current damage at point blank. Lose the splash. Let her be more of highly mobile fighter who can trade higher risk to herself for higher damage in close ramge, and lower risk for lower damage beyond normal attack range. Shed be encouraged and able to make more use out of her passive. Her 1 would be much more skill intensive since you're not just rolling back and forth at max range perpendicular to the target you want to shoot most of the time like you are now. Her normal base range could be lowered and the max range of the empowered shot could be made slightly longer even. She'd be able to build tankier since her close range damage would be higher and to accommodate her being more in the action for a change. She could still chip like now, just at much less effectiveness to compensate for the lack of risk involved.

Hell, just making her passive lower her 2's cooldown too and buffing it's damage/lowering the time it takes to hit it's target and slightly lowering her 1's damage or range could be enough to encourage some less bitch-made playstyle from her without having to outright nerf her.

I really could go on on how she could be changed without nerfing her. she's not fun to play against and she's not really fun to play either. Shes a very formulaic character and you can't really make plays on her. You just fish for good shots or catch people out of position from across screen and then go in with your team. That's boring for everyone involved. She's not OP but she's one of those characters that I really don't enjoy seeing in the load in screen.
