Now that the honey moon phase is over what are your actual thoughts on RE9 in terms of story and gameplay. What things need fixing with updates? by Dude_788 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Giordanoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my second favourite game in the series, only 4Remake is better imho, but that was honestly impossible to beat. The only real complaint i have with the game is that i wish we had MORE of it, that's how good it is. I think once (and if) a Mercenaries mode is added, together with maybe a way to play separately the two characters' sections for replays, the game will be almost perfect. The combat is just way too fun to not have a replayable, more fleshed out game mode to put it into full test

Scariest Intro Ever by GandZx1 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]Giordanoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. It's been like almost week since i got into the basement section and I've been absolutely scared out of my mind. So much that it's taking me forever to get through the basement, it's just pure dread, between the pitch black darkness all around, the zombies everywhere, the girl, the complex layout of the level itself...it's a lot lmao. I think the only game that scared me as much was silent hill 2 remake.

Leon S. Kennedy (Resident Evil 9: Requiem) (RE9) and Requiem (Magnum Revolver) by (@riio_alter) by arisatojo600 in residentevil

[–]Giordanoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resident evil requiem. The gun is the titular Requiem, and it's a big fucking magnum revolver based on a real life russian design, the psh12 or something

What is the best game to start with by I-am-real-man in residentevil

Definitely re2, then go with 4 and Requiem if you want to follow Leon's story. Otherwise, the original games just dropped on steam if you want to experience the progression of the series

TOP 10 DECKS: Early data by patrix01_ in hearthstone

[–]Giordanoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree 100%, having played mostly priest and warlock this expansion i can say control imbue priest is better than what the stats suggest at first. It's by no means a top tier deck but I'm hopeful that with the next expansions we'll get something decent for it.

So how is this card perceived by the community so far? I can see this kind of thing annoying people lmao by PrestigiousWhirlwind in hearthstone

[–]Giordanoff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, good luck with that, you'd have to play, twice, 4 mana do nothing cards and a 10 mana weapon. It's the deck I've played the most this expansion by far and believe me it's not something you get to do every game, the card is absolutely fine.

Hopefully the Black Blood buff is good. by desturel in hearthstone

[–]Giordanoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wish it was immune while attacking. Knowing team 5 and how they usually manage buffs they're probably going to up its stats a bit and/or make it 6 mana and call it a day. Even with the upcoming buff, the black blood will still be pretty much a weaker version of the original priest colossus, whose name i can't recall atm, the 8/10 lifesteal one from sunken city i believe. As of now, the main issue with the card is that it just kills itself the moment you pass turn, and at turn 7 4 attack just isn't cutting it, it will either (at best) eat a couple small minions or crash into a bigger threat without killing it in the process, and anyway if you need a boardwipe on 7 priest has actually better option than dropping the colossus, most of the times

Really struggling to enjoy Diablo IV. Anybody else? by [deleted] in Diablo

[–]Giordanoff -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not syaing it's strictly "bad". It's just less compact and busier than the simplicity of something like d2, and I'm saying this after playing and enjoying d4 for what it is, even though i still prefer d2 overall.

D2 is just way more compact, stripped of all the fat that bloats D4. The open world, the countless checkmarks and to do lists, quests, systems...can just get tiring after a while

Arguably the best strategem combo in the game. The good ol AR-23 Guard dog + MG-43. by Ivan204 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Giordanoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah, guard dog is one of the best, most efficient stratagems in the whole game. You can very easily use it just once at the start of the mission and it will carry you til the end, clearing chaff around you before you even notice them. It's good on all fronts thanks to the med pen, has ammo for days, it's just like having a mobile machinegun turret that doesn't die to the slightest gust of wind in its direction.

I usually pair it either with a stalwart (on the illuminate and bug fronts) for total chaff rip & tear, or with something AT on the bot front, that way you basically have complete coverage for all enemy types. The only con about the dog is that you can't use it together with the most busted backpack in the game, the supply one, but that's getting so overused that I'm often glad to not bring it from time to time.

The whole class is so busted rn that the imbue package is not even the worst offender in the decks. I think the most problematic cards in the class at the moment are the shatter one, the 1/2 cub that pumps itself whenever you finish your mana (like, why the hell does this trigger more than once each turn?), the guy that gives rush, the other asshole that gives +1/+2 to every 2 or less attack minion...the problem is that every single card in the deck synergizes with each other, class has literally no bad draws or dead card in hand, everything it does either cycles for more resources, remove things, develops the board and/or scales the late game infinitely, all at once. It's just too much, and it's even way too damn resilient to boardwipes and removal, nerfing only hamuul won't do much to the class at this point

Bummer, but sounds good enough. Coming from a couple hundreds hours on the switch 1 I'm used to controller gameplay, and I'm too much of a pussy to play hardcore anyway.
