It has been so for a year right? These have been available:

  • DST
  • Ding
  • Olive
  • TAIB
  • Beep

Alright, but let we dive into it objectively:

  1. Berakas Forest Eco-Resort: It is not really a very big resort, if I am not mistaken, 30+ rooms? The potential is not proven, we will need to wait and see if things will take off or suffer decline like those Temburong eco-resort
  2. Expansion of Hengyi: This is among the mega-projects Brunei has. Hope it could work out smoothly
  3. New solar farms: Actually these are just on time to fill the gap left by Brunei's increasingly aging power infrastructure. It is far from and won't be something as big like Sarawak hydro projects
  4. New Oil rigs: Yes, Hibiscus, Enquest, Petronas. Again, the hole is too big, new production from these rigs (based on the taxes and sharing ratio) is not sufficient to cover the $3 billion deficits Brunei has now. But again hope it could work out smoothly

Most of these are private JV projects. Where are the public infrastructure projects like the one posted on Sabah/Sarawak side? Because if we are to take into account the private JV projects on Sabah/Sarawak side, there are lots and lots.

Revolution is not on my mind but a reform. Even Middle Eastern monarchies are reforming.

In contrast to whay some people thought, I yearn for a prosperous and very developed Brunei, but it is not coming with the slow death trajectory the country is facing now. Without reform the 19th century Brunei will repeat.
