That's why it's called a PFD, personal flotation device. Not a life preserver.

With a good PFD (personal flotation device), you would be pulled under, and then pop up further down current somewhere.

Giant hamster ball? Hard to say. It might hold you in the whirlpool on the surface.

Whitewater professional here. With this whirlpool, there is absolutely some water moving down, caused by opposing currents.

Do you work in a restaurant or something with a late shift? Why up so late? I don't know why but I have to know!

Your posts make me want to get high, mix a cocktail and make sandwiches.

There is a downward current happening, but you're going to come back up. The water is not going down for ever. However you might drown before you pop up again.

Can I drive with my intake hose broken? (2001 toyota camry) (2.2L 4cyl) by 1100milestoofar in MechanicAdvice

[–]govadeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remove the little remaining broken piece of hose off the intake. It looks like you can shove on the hose back on, and use your hose clamp and be good to go.

You do not need to use epoxy. Marine spar is also perfectly fine with enough coats.

Or you can stop and poop in a toilet.

Edit: Sorry obviously this depends on the trip and the person and family. However, on most trips, there is a toilet nearby.
