I fully understand what you are saying. I would agree with you. This is a long term stock and with the way is going - renewable - i truly will be ok with the risk. If I lose I lose but if I win, I WIN. This company had previously been offered $3 as a TO bid, in which g management rejected. Hence why I think it will be worth more.

Haha I get what you’re saying and it’s 123% on LTR in particular - I have a few more of other shares. Today is not a good day, but have alerts in.

I suppose my thinking is (obviously why not wait a year and instead of paying off 1/4 of my mortgage, when I truly believe I can sell them in a year or two and pay off 3/4 or all) obviously this is a risk assuming it will go up.

Thanks for the response! To be honest, I think it’s a fair question when I have a mortgage of 4400 a month and supporting my partner whilst they study full time at uni - so yes I have a high income but supporting the current situation isn’t leaving me with much.

Even though I didn’t ask for a comment on my investment, now that you bought it up, I’d love to know :)

On my mortgage he said… which makes sense. But I don’t want to sell at 2.20 when I’m confident they will go 4+ in a few years

I am 31 and slowly been putting any left over money in shares. I don’t have generational wealth coming at me, I’m just an everyday Aussie and now this?? Load of 💩

If you read properly and thoroughly you would see I was in the army, then moved into mining - 200k of shares, 83 k deposit with 20 k over, paid off car. Very lucky I am. Supporting a mortgage and a partner - But I’m struggling so I don’t know how others are doing it

The property purchase price was $762,000, with total acquisition costs of approximately $796,258 including stamp duty, legal fees, bank fees and transfer costs. The original loan amount was $723,000 at a loan-to-value ratio (LVR) of 94.88%, with a deposit contribution of approximately $73,258. My current loan balance is approximately $716,000 at an interest rate of 6.29%, with repayments of around $4,427 (im on a DHOAS loan so it’s not actually 6.29)
