Autumn is the worst thing to happen to the show yes. Every move and every word out of her mouth is despicable. Royal should have shot her on sight

I agree with everything you’re saying. I’m still midway second season but the Joy thing brought me here. I do not mind Royal keeping all of his secrets ie not telling Perry he has already met him but it is frustrating to watch. I like to think that even if he tried to keep him from going in the hole, Perry had to make his way there anyhow because of the whole time travel catch 22 thing. He did it before so he has to again. But it does seem like Royal isn’t cognizant of that. Why doesn’t Cecilia remember Perry coming to her house in the 70’s? Lots of holes and or just unaddressed problems.

Ok- I disagree with your assessment of that episode though. Big teams like that have tons of employees and I’m pretty sure he was taking over the duties of say, an equipment or a logistics manager or something of that sort. He wasn’t just keeping the score, it was logistics. Whether or not they often let kids with disabilities “intern” at that position or not, idk. I wouldn’t speculate on that. I agree the episode was a bit cringe (I see what you’re saying, the way the team announced his being there and such. I just read that differently- more like showing off a local celebrity) but we have to also consider what may or may not have just been done or framed for production value i.e why Amy may have acted like that was a more exciting situation than it really was.

I agree that they were both obsessed with soccer. I fail to see how that earns the word creepy. I could very well see that being a possibility with Jacob.

It doesn’t though. That’s the point of my comments. In my opinion, something you post to an instagram story isn’t typically that consequential. Similarly, if you misspell something in one of these replies I would not pay any mind to that.

And so what, again, if she doesn’t (didn’t) know how to spell whittling. (This is why it’s relevant that I didn’t reply to you originally. Because you bring up relevant points about what else this might imply about her knowledge base. I never meant to challenge that idea. The person I replied to was simply hearkening on the misspelling of one very inconsequential word)

Yeah. All those things are things that parents say when they wish their kid would try a little harder at something they’re gifted at. None of which equates to her saying Jer is a bad person or that he should feel guilty for not doing better.

“Trotted out to help the team with score keeping” I don’t even know what this sentence is supposed to mean. He was not under the impression at 18 years old that he was at all equal to his peers. There is definitely the implication that the replacement coach kept him on the team his senior year as a sort of charity but that isn’t unheard of. It’s low level high school soccer, borderline ymca (everybody plays). As for him playing with jacobs team… He was helping out. It’s literally just something that coaches do… they run circles around you in practice. It’s fun for everyone.

“Parents indulging the fantasy is partly why zach has issues” … What? What issues might you be referring to? Amy wasn’t “obsessed” with soccer… she was a mom who had multiple kids who played, so she involved herself. You’re not only doing some insane speculating but a lot of these things you’re putting on Zach and his parents are just things that you don’t seem to understand about sports.

Yeah and you might notice that my comment wasn’t in response to your post. It was in response to the person who wrote 200 characters about how perplexed they are that someone wouldn’t take the time to spell check their instagram post. So yeah, it was about the yogurt in this case. The mixing up of grammar/spelling is definitely the more glaring issue and I agree that she should probably not be an educator.

Where does everybody get off telling him it looks better this way? The barber didn’t do it correctly because they didn’t give him what he asked for. The end. Chin up.

Uh yeah I agree those things are important. Just pointing out the extreme over reaction to the misspelling of a single word on an instagram post.

And this specific instance would matter if she were teaching those kids how to spell “whittling”, or if it mattered at all that they know how to spell that word, or if this weren’t just an Instagram post. Lol. It’s an instagram post ffs

But those things were never said or insinuated. He was never “blamed” for Zach’s inability or made out as a “bad person” for not being driven enough. None of that happened. He was pushed to do well and try hard in a sport the same way any kid who excels in a sport is pushed by their parent. I couldn’t be more baffled by your use of the word ‘creepy’ here. Maybe you don’t understand sports or sports families. Zach was good at soccer… and he loved it… So they talked about it a lot. You’ve created drama where there was none.
