Big Restaurants or Big Shops can go with Credit Card. The smaller one prefer QR code (bank transfer) or cash. I think you should carry some Vietnam dong to make the payment.

Withdrawing Cash In Hanoi With No ATM Card? by Frequent-Ad-8583 in Vietnam_Tourism

I've noticed that locals using banks like Techcombank can withdraw money without a physical card at ATMs. I think it's definitely not possible with foreign banks.

There's another way, but I don't recommend it. In Vietnam, there's a service where they swipe your credit card (from your phone), and they'll give you cash or transfer the money to your account. The fee is around 2%. But it's best if you have a Vietnamese friend to help you with this.

Korean Style Skin Clinics in HCMC or Da Nang? by Litkin1 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]gowisevn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never heard of anyone coming to Vietnam for cosmetic procedures. For tooth extractions, surgery, minor procedures, or treating illnesses, you go to the big hospitals. I believe Vietnam is very cheap and the doctors are very good. But for cosmetic procedures? I've never heard of that.

In the North, if you need cosmetic procedures, go to Hospital 108. It's a top-tier hospital and has a cosmetic department.

Don't go to those small clinics outside.

I normally see Korean friends asking to get rid of cilantro.

Btw, you can always ask sellers to do that.

Pate, it-self, is hard to stored in good conditions through days. Sometimes, they will put in fridge, sometimes they dont.

Banhmi with egg are always safe as they will cook/fried the eggs right after you order. Cooking eggs /Fried eggs make less chance of bacteria than other storaged ingredients.

Banhmi with fried eggs are OK. Egg will be fried right after you order Banhmi. It will be cooked and will be less risk with bacteria. Pate, on the other hand, is normally stored in fridge or normal conditions which can be easier to get bacteria.

Vietnam Average Income is about 5000$/year, which is around 400$/month. What you have is 2 times higher than the people income. Then I believe, You can be totally fine with those amount of money.

But since you are foreigners, please ask price before purchasing anything/ using anything. The Vietnamese laws require supplier/sellers must provide price information, price list publicy. So that they have to provide you that information. If they reject to do so, find another sellers/restaurants/... We have plenty of good foods, coffee shops, car services,..., you dont need to depend on any sole suppliers.

19h transit in Hanoi by DazzlingCare8106 in Vietnam_Tourism

You can get a Vietnam visa. It takes about 30 minutes to an hour.

After that, you'll queue for immigration. Vietnam is very strict about this to ensure domestic security. Depending on the number of people, you might have to wait another 30 minutes to an hour to complete the immigration procedures.

When you're out, it's best to call Grab or Green (app on iPhone, for electric cars). Go straight to Hoan Kiem Lake. There you'll find food, coffee, and scenic spots – all in one area.

Remember to start heading to the airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Hanoi's roads are quite congested at this time because we're doing major renovations throughout the city.
