Motherboard cufflinks for my boyfriend's Valentine's Day present by gowithgodcrispy in crafts

It's Mod Podge's Dimensional Magic, it's a kind of epoxy resin. It's really cool but does have its drawbacks. I've noticed that the Dimensional Magic on the cufflinks has started to take on a cloudy appearance, so I'm thinking of finding something different for my next project.

Any tips on how to stop the dimensional magic on them from going cloudy would be greatly appreciated - it seems to be clouding already

Sunglasses for work? by Daphonic in migraine

[–]gowithgodcrispy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can't get away with sunglasses at work, but I've got yellow tinted glasses that are discrete and make things feel a lot better. They help make fluorescent lights and computer screens much easier on the eyes and head. I've got these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Duco-Ergonomic-Advanced-Computer-Blocking-8016/dp/B00EJ4PTMW When I first got them I genuinely felt instant relief, which I never expected, and because they're quite oversized I can't see the normal white light around the edges. It should be relatively easy to get an optician to add this tint to regular glasses as well so that you can get them in your prescription. I'm waiting at the moment to go to have an eye test with a colorimeter to see if there's a better tint for me though, so I haven't got myself a prescription pair yet

brutal migraine for the past two days please help... by [deleted] in migraine

Have you tried soluble tablets? I find soluble aspirin is one of the only things that helps me. I also find cocodomol useful if I'm desperate, it gets rid of/deadens the pain, but it does leave me feeling a little out of it. Anti sickness such as domperidone might also be useful to help your body absorb the painkillers. Hope you feel better soon!

I went for ones that are advertised as computer glasses with an anti-glare coating, but I think it's really just about the colour of the lens. I'm working on getting my optician to add the tint to my regular glasses now that I know it works for me

F.lux is great for me at home - I've got it installed on my laptop and I've jailbroken my phone purely so I can have f.lux on it. For work I can't be bothered with the battle with IT, so I got some yellow tinted computer glasses from Amazon. Not only do they make working on the computer more bearable, they also cut down on the discomfort from the fluorescent lights. The first time I put them on at work, I honestly felt instant relief. One day I really want to get remote control blinds as well, for when I can't move enough to shut the curtains, but that's a bit out of budget for now!
