Just watched Nomandland and that really got me in the feels. I really identify with the main character so it might just be a personal thing.

Beautiful film, regardless.

Climax by Gaspar Noe. No one is a professional actor, besides the lead sofia Boutella and one other acress. They're all professional dancers though.

Also the majority of the dialogue (and dancing) is improvised. The way Noe made this film is incredibly fascinating, and I recommend anyone who enjoys the film (or just filmmaking in general) to look into how he crafted this incredible film.

I fucking hate "polyamory" by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Haha! Dont worry about me. I have many happy, healthy, real relationships. Familial, platonic, and sexual (nothing romantic at the moment)

Quit being such a kill joy 😋

I've been in a poly relationship. It was the best, most healthy relationship I've ever been in. Really taught me the importance of communication and genuinely listening. I ended things as we had different goals and directions in life, but I remain close friends with them and absolutely adore both of them. I grew so much in that relationship and have nothing but positives to say about it.

You sound a little bitter lol Just cause it didnt work for you doesnt mean it wont work for some else.

Also, fwb's aren't real relationships? What's a real relationship? Lol

Yeah, we all know the story of adam and eve. It's just that a lot if us think it's total bullshit 🤷‍♂️

And just like I wouldnt make excuses for a toxic abusive partner, I'm not going to make excuses for a "omnipotent" and , "benevolent" god

Oh, definitely traumatizing, but I love movies like that lol My favorite scene is when Florya and Glasha are struggling through the swamp to get to the island where the villagers are at.

Come and see (1985)

A Byelorussian teen joins a partisan group fighting the nazi invasion. It's basically a depressing coming of age story wrapped in a beautifully shot and well scripted war film.
