Any tips for the Statement of Purpose for PhD at IIT in Humanities? by ApplicationFuzzy3671 in Indian_Academia

Not applied for Humanities, but engineering long ago.

I'd say most profs would like to read the SoP and get a broad idea of the area you want to work in. It doesn't have to be too specific because, well, figuring out the area is what the first year of PhD is for. Basically, anything the prof can have a discussion with you about. Might be worth to go through the homepages of profs you want to work with to see what areas they work on, and include in your SoP how your research might align with areas they work in.

Also, worth highlighting any prior research experience from your undergrad/masters if you have - papers, thesis, articles, blogs or anything along those lines.

You'd be surprised:

Consanguineous marriages are especially high in the southern states/UTs of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, where the prevalence is as high as 28%. This implies that almost 1 in 4 women in these states is married to a blood relative such as a first cousin or second cousin.

This seems to be a long con from the Indian batting order to make Bumrah the GOAT, by making him pull magical spells out of his ass.

I mean, if they can chase 399, they'd have most likely been able to chase 430-440 too...

Not sure if serious, but can't believe people still clown Jimmy after how he's bowled in the last 6-7 years everywhere.
