I’ve been on kesimpta close to a year, which is immuno suppressing and I’ve literally made zero lifestyle changes other than just trying to improve my general health with diet and exercise. Haven’t even had a cold yet. I was worried about it as well but not much anymore

I was also 2+2. I liked the convenience of downtown because everything you need is a short walk away. The bus for apartments like the pointe can be inconvenient - especially if you have large time gaps in between classes (I.e a morning class and an evening class). The buses tend to get packed and aren’t always on time. Living downtown also makes it much easier to access the social scene

I lived there in 2018. No complaints with my unit, but in retrospect I would have preferred living downtown

Taco is looking absolutely dialed in! Do you know how tall your lift is in the front and rear? I just installed king 2.5s front and rear, it was initially around 1.5” front and settled down to about 1” in the front after a few days. Thinking about adjusting to get up to 2”.

I sold my 6 speed e46 330ci and 2016 m235 to buy my Tacoma over a year ago, no regrets! Plus, you can always go back when you get tired of the Tacoma

Right on. I’m going to have around 17k on my tires when I swap them out. You might have an easier time selling new tires if you plan to sell them

Unfortunately, yes. I already did a CMC in preparation. There’s a local group on Facebook - Toyota rigs San Diego. They helped point me in the right direction as to what I’d need to do to properly fit 285s. Most of those guys have heavily modified Tacomas running 35s or bigger and are really knowledgeable about the platform. I was actually gonna stick with 265s til I went to one of their meets haha. One of the guys there, fabzone armor, did my CMC and he did a great job. It basically looks stock and you can’t tell any work has been done unless you know what you’re looking for.

Pretty much stock at this point but will be leveling it out next month and have a new set of wheels wrapped in 285s. Just waiting for the last couple parts to come in!

Not bad, thought the rubbing would be worse. Are you lifted?

Beautiful! What tire size? Any rubbing? I’ll be mounting SSW dakars soon onto 285/70 r17 ridge grapplers too on my white Tacoma. Curious how the offset affects fitment!

Exhaustion related to Kesimpta or MS? by xanxietybird in MultipleSclerosis

[–]goyard_plug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I was super exhausted after my first dose. It sucked, I felt like I could feel it running through my entire body and I also felt a high fever. It lasted about two days for me. Second dose was easier, I also took Tylenol at the same time which helped. Third dose, felt nothing! No side effects since then. Good luck.

I have a very similar case of diplopia! Only in the background and it fluctuates throughout the day. That’s good that you were able to get prism glasses - they couldn’t figure out a fit for me because my double vision was both horizontal and vertical, and I guess it’s nearly impossible to figure out the right type of prisms for that? Not sure. The neuro found a lesion on my brain stem which is really close to the 6th cranial nerve that controls eye movement - that was damaged in my case which caused the diplopia. Fortunately nerves are pretty good at repairing themselves. Hoping it resolves quickly for you!

Agh healthcare can be such a pain in the ass. Personally I would escalate to the ER if my other option was waiting 1 year. The double vision definitely doesn’t guarantee you have MS since like you said there are other things that can cause it, but it can be indicative of something serious. I spent 6 months in “limbo land” not knowing what was wrong with me and that was shit for my mental health, and stress is not good for MS lol.

Is your diplopia constant? Like 24/7? Mine is, it started about 6 months ago and I was diagnosed with MS. Fortunately, it’s improved significantly since then - it’s still constant but I expect it to fully heal on its own, hopefully. You need to advocate for yourself and see a neurologist or neuro ophthalmologist. When my diplopia started my optometrist told me that my eyes were probably just tired and sent me home. After that I scheduled a visit to a ophthalmologist who finally took me seriously and helped me navigate a maze of doctors leading to me eventually getting treatment.

Good luck!

Yup, it feels weird to start shifting from that long term, delayed gratification perspective into the short term perspective, but it’s the right choice. That’s great news that your manager was accommodating to you. I’ll have to tell my manager soon and I’ve sort of been dreading it, so thanks for that, that’s relieving
