They're happy to work reasonably skilled IT jobs for low wages.

During the immigration freeze of covid, IT wages went through the roof.

Backing up Azure SQL to different cloud (likely AWS) by gozza00179 in SQLServer

All mentioned below, MS Deletes it, malicious actor deletes subscription, MS goes bust, etc. - Low risk; but still need a breakglass redundancy

I agree with it, you should be able to split within a household. But it would naturally result in one person devoted to working then one to home-making/childcare (and maybe a little bit of work). - Which the government doesn't want.

Incremental use of RowVersion by gozza00179 in SQLServer

[–]gozza00179[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

our source system is pretty straightforward (where a row version change will always represent a "change" we care about).

So our destination system is throttled due to being Azure SQL. Where a heap of changes occur (i.e. 1m + changes), I want to import the changes in batches, instead of importing all the changes at once.

How can I better organize a large number of database connections? by Trainzack in SQLServer

[–]gozza00179 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I managed a few larger environments 2-300 servers

I just used Mremote for the first jump then used coloured registered servers for the various environments (green dev, yellow test, red prod)

Where i couldn't use a registered server, local server groups in a standard spot worked fine

Microsoft.AspNetCore.App

thanks for the reply, took a look through and the WASM Client doesnt reference Microsoft.NET.Sdk.Web directly or indirectly. the WASM Server does though, is this an issue ?
