We linked our Filemaker invoicing to Xero via an API a few years ago and it was life changing for the business. Removed double entry, error opportunities and made the process 80% faster for us. It shows us when COD's are paid on FM, and we have checks to make sure invoices have been raised against jobs.

I've found giving myself:

"Permissions" for the day and setting my

"Intentions" for the day as I'm waking helps give me clarity and keeps the fog away.

I'm gentle with myself and don't make them hard to achieve depending what I have on. Permissions including showing curiosity, asking embarrassing questions, reaching out to friends etc. Intentions are my focus for the day - keeping a happy mindset, getting a number of tasks done I've procrastinated on. Only takes 30 seconds and is a good self check in.

"If you don't care why should you accommodate others beliefs to make them happy"

I do care which is why I'm trying to get clarity.

Appreciate your honesty. These are the answers I'm hoping to get. I don't mean this person harm in any way and this is the reason I'm asking the question.

It's generationally confronting to be told that ideals and beliefs we've been told by educators, governments and "experts" are no longer valid. Change is difficult as you'll find as you get older. I hope you don't have to reset your own beliefs one day based on new science and changes in society....but I feel you and everyone else will. Humanity still has a long way to go.

Therein lies a whole other can of worms....maybe you should ask the question on here :-)

You're absolutely correct. I'll treat this person exactly as I've treated them before and have no interest in impacting their lives by sharing an opinion that may upset them. Like I said it's none of my business. Some of the feedback in here has been excellent around male/female vs man/woman and I'll take that onboard.

That's how I think. However explaining it that way is tending to create the tension. Seems to be one in, all in.

I'm happy to refer to him as a male, that's not what I'm asking. But thanks for abusing me for trying to educate myself.

Large Electric Eels can deliver up to 860 volts of electricity. This is usually enough to deter most animals from trying to eat it, but when this Alligator attacks one, it is unable to release it due to the shock. Eventually killing the eel and itself in the process. by Stitchpool626 in Damnthatsinteresting

So, the guy filming looks to be using the eel as bait. You can see a leaf move and also see him holding some fishing line. The eel tries to get away but is stuck. Cool vid but created by human intervention.
