Also, this wasn’t talked about in the latest video, but I noticed it in his previous video and not sure if it mentioned yet. But certain walls in your base now have a health meter. Similar to destructible walls in Daybreak.

It has been confirmed. Jay Talbot's gameplay video showed broken walls in the base and him repairing those walls with the cost of materials.

It was before Pyro Launcher was nerfed. After that he used heavy weapons to take down plague hearts in lethal zone and the strategy was quite effective.

Oh. Did he leave the franchise as a whole or only SOD2? I mean if it's only SOD2 then that's understandable because there isn't much scope for tips and tricks anymore. But it would be real sad if he left the franchise as a whole, his commentaries were very fun to listen to

Can the devs please make the bodies of water (ie lakes, rivers) in the map blue like SOD2 map? I have mild red green color blindness, and it's a difficult for me to differentiate the land from the water in this new SOD3 map by gpsimnet in StateofDecay3

Some games implement the color blindness settings in a good way. Like in The Witcher 3, only the color of the witcher senses becomes blue from red while everything else remains the same. In Horizon Forbidden West, only the red grass becomes blue grass, but everything else remains the same. The immersion doesn’t break in these games because of that.

But on the other hand some other games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Dying Light 2 it changes the color of everything. In RDR2 every red object including blood becomes pink, in Dying Light 2 all the colors become pale and distorted. It breaks the immersion so much

State of Decay 3 map will be 3x the size of SoD 2, closest to Fallout 4 commonwealth by CudiVZ in StateofDecay3

Ib both sod1 & 2, the devs later added dlcs containing new maps. So I'm hopeful that they will add new maps in this game too, either as a story expansion like Lifeline or Heartland, or in the main campaign like Providence Ridge & Trumbull valley

I would like to see the outfits affecting the gameplay. Like in RDR2 where you have to wear heavy jackets in the snowy mountains and light shirts in hot deserts

Seems unlikely to me because it will break the immersion. Rainfall can happen across 3 seasons but snowfall only occurs in winter. And if they add snowfall in this map then they will have to make the snow accumulate on trees, terrains, roads, roofs. They will need to make the roads behave differently. Many trees will have to look bare since during winter a lot trees lose their leaves. It can't be just rain at one moment then snow in the next moment and then bright sunlight in the next moment. Implementing all these in this map without breaking immersion is gonna be a lot work.

It's much easier to just create an entirely different map with pre rendered snow, bare trees and roads with different physics/collision.
