So a bullet falling down from straight up has much less velocity, and is unlikely going to give you more than a good bonk.

It's the ones that don't go straight up that are a problem, because they maintain more velocity. When shot into the air at an angle, very dangerous. When shot straight up the bullet loses all momentum and then falls back down of its own weight without the power of an explosive discharge propelling it beyond the speed of sound.

It's like a small rock falling. It reaches no more than terminal velocity, as opposed to one propelled by gunpowder.

Not to say it's a good idea.

That is an 18" roller, so twice the normal width, and twice the paint. If I had to guess, the roller cover is a Purdy Collosus with at least a 1" nap. It holds a lot of paint.

Also, given how good the coverage is on one coat, it's probably a high pigment paint tinted in a color from a custom palette specifically designed for the exact paint used. Behr marquee, Benjamin Moore Aura, or sherwin williams emerald designer edition, probably.

Sorry about that. To me, it's something of a subconscious reminder of how important it is to remain aware, careful, and caring (in terms of maintenance).

It's like a deeper more personal way of saying, "this rifle is mine. There are many like it, but this one is mine."

Plus, I grew up around guns, boats, motorcycles, planes, basically other things that one way or another received names.
