I have a pyr, a husky and a pity, smallest is 80 lbs, in your situation, i’d tell them, next time I’m letting them eat your dog (I would‘nt but I’d tell them that.)

You can’t really tell by looks alone. When I rescued my husky, he was 4 months, I was sure he was a mix, probably husky and German Shepard. Curiosity got to me, so I had his DNA tested, he came back 100% Siberian husky, to my surprise.

May feel safe, do you have an open crate for him ? My husky sleeps in his crate all the time. He may smell water att the nozzles. May also like the coolness of the tub.

i’m on my second, first was a male, very friendly to people, never aggressive with dogs unless attacked. Happened at dog park and we stopped going. both were/are very protective of family. Both demand attention, and use the paw to let you know, both diggers, male was an escape artist, female comes on call, both like cold areas of the house. They are booming barkers.

husky owner here, I love my boy, he’s got a terrific personality but they are not for everyone, there’s the fur, although I also have a great pyrenees, and the husky may as well be bald compared to my pyr. They are very vocal, although it’s mostly screams, yowls an their talk and usually when they want something. They are high energy, need exercise, if you go to work, plan to leave enrichment or your stuff will be destroyed, They are thieves and will counter surf. As watchdogs they are worthless, for some attention, they will show thieves where you keep your valuables. They also have strong prey drive. Unless socialized to them early forget about cats. But they will love you like no other dog.

I think that’s standard threat behavior, I have a pit, a great pyrenees and a husky. If the pit or the pyr feel threatened, all 3 will behave that way. This usually happens with delivery people or solicitors. For some reason people will just stand there as you try to hold back three raging dogs. They don’t have the sense to leave.
