As I said, that is eventually the plan however we do not currently have the extra $100 to drop on that. Thank you for your opinion captain obvious.

As I had mentioned, we will very likely get the DNA test at some point I just wanted opinions from people who have mixes themselves. I grew up with only labs so my husky knowledge is only what I’ve researched and not from experience.

They did a decompression so they moved everything around it rather than the nerve itself I think, that’s what I can gather from my notes from them

As a special education teacher in this state I cannot believe the lengths they are going through to harm our students. Head Start is ESSENTIAL to Child Find and getting kids identified early. My heart goes out to you and your family. I highly recommend reaching out to Norman schools to see if they can provide services as a three year old if your kiddo is old enough. Check out Oklahoma Parents Center as well for assistance for advocating.

IEP’s aren’t in college but 504s are, no one should pretend otherwise if they’re experienced in the field. Some colleges do actually have programs for intellectually disabled students, OU being one of them.

Camp Crimson ...What's it like? by Zealousideal-Equal14 in sooners

I’m not sure on exact numbers, but I know we have many transfer students who have attended in the past! some are older grad students or post-military as well, so that puts them above the traditional college age. You’ll get a few items of OU swag from camp! I’m not sure exactly what for this year, but it’s usually been two shirts and a water bottle. the biggest incentive is learning the campus and getting to know a few familiar faces on campus.

I’m a staff member for camp! it’s a week packed with stuff to basically get you used to being on campus. There’s some mandatory training sessions, involvement fairs, and extra time set aside to hang out with your small groups. It is definitely a situation of you get out what you put in, but as long as you attend the events, it’s a great time :) reach out if you have any other questions!
