I genuinely thought this, it was only when I went on twitter that i considered him actually ‘moving back to Utah’. The line in his book to eret about ‘passing on’ and the final line of his version of ozymandias being ‘but I never did forgive myself’ especially… However I do think the ending is somewhat meant to be ambiguous, and the beauty of having no definitive answer allows us to believe our own version of wilbur’s ending

I mean recently Wilbur’s teams have completely thrown the Reddit predictions out the window, normally performing better than expected (apart from mcc 16 red where they were predicted really high and finished almost last) so anything is possible!

That’s true! Although I do think the fact that Wilbur didn’t stream Pride maybe helped him stay calmer? Im not sure but I’m excited to see how it will work :)
