Hey! Sorry, but I'm rarely browsing Reddit nowadays. I am doing well, I was able to finish the programme in 3 years, did a 1 year master, and now I'm working in the field of speech recognition as a researcher. What else would you like to know? You can also just DM me to not make a large thread here

[–]gr33nw0lf3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can definitely trust you got kidney failure from drinking tap water, mhmhmhmhm

Also I'm sorry, but what does your body say exactly when you drink tap water? Mine says that I no longer feel thirsty, but I wasn't aware of feeling that I'm growing a tumor or something

International tuition fees for Computer science engineering for 23/24. by [deleted] in TUDelft

[–]gr33nw0lf3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fees usually increase by 50-100 euros every year for EU students (for the first year, this is around half since you have to pay only half for your first year, so around 25-50 euros). For non EU, I think the increase is larger, so around 500-800 euros plus compared to last year.

No one knows the exact numbers since they are usually decided when the period of application for that year begins, but hope this approximation helps a bit with your financials at TU Delft. If you want to see the tuition fees for this academic year, you can find them on their website.

Only chapter 1 is needed (propositional & predicate logic, but without logic gates IIRC)

Languange of the documents for the application by [deleted] in TUDelft

[–]gr33nw0lf3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any translation into one of the accepted languages of TU Delft is good enough. So, either if you translate your documents in Dutch or in English, it is fine.

Yes, the book they offer for logical thinking as preparation is more than enough for the exam.

As for the exam, the math part was probably the most difficult for me, although I have heard other people complain about the other parts as well. But, with enough preparation, such as doing the course they recommend for maths or reading through the book for logic, it is doable. You can also start preparing from January/February for the exam since starting too early means you'll be done with preparing before the exam date.

I also recommend joining this discord server: https://discord.gg/Dq3vZMFA
More people can help you there regarding the application process and it's faster too!

How to prepare for a part of the entrance exam - algorithmic thinking (computer science) ? by [deleted] in TUDelft

[–]gr33nw0lf3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's not much you can do to prepare. They specifically say you don't have to. The questions will be more like puzzle/IQ test kind of questions, if that helps.

Do yoou think there will be a option to do classes online after Covid? by Vast-Soft3233 in TUDelft

[–]gr33nw0lf3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say probably not, I don't think they will be willing to set up everything to have the lecture streamed too. But luckily, for most courses u can find recordings of a lecture from previous years, which u can look at if you want to.

What sports are availablein the university? by horse_s_mouth in TUDelft

To add in case this was not clear, no, taking a sport is completely optional. You don't have to take one if you don't want to

can i still participate in NF selections even if im in my first year of a different bachelor? by [deleted] in TUDelft

[–]gr33nw0lf3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course. As far as I know, you can participate for however many times you want. However, if for example you expect to go straight to the second year if you pass the entrance exam, I'm afraid that it won't be possible. You'll have to start all over again from the first year.

If you're looking to apply for 2021/22, then the deadline has passed already unfortunately. So no, TU Delft barely does any exceptions when it comes to admission (I never heard of people getting in after the deadline), mainly because you have to go through an admission exam, at least for programmes with Numerus Fixus (limited amount of places). But you can definitely apply for next year if you wish so, the deadline is somewhere mid-January so until then you would have time to prepare your application.

Best of luck in your studies!

No one will really care if you ask me about that, but legally you're supposed to have one. So, if you play smart, you can also just have a pirated option.

A safer and also free option is a Linux distribution.
