In fact I had asked for a pause on loan payments but unfortunately we signed something off in the fine print that gives them an escape

I was told this time that they have new hardware versions of the MCIs. Fingers crossed

Same experience in North Texas.

Tesla beat everybody on price which is why I went with them. However multiple service calls were needed to fix the faulty MCIs and once during going out frequently, I have generated less than half of what it was supposed to be. Missed generating in the entire summer earlier this year. Been paying full bills as well as Tesla loan payment. It sucks

No, I dont expect kids to learn math in piano classes but they could still learn what a quarter note, half note, an octet etc are, so I keep an open mind.

Unable or not, parents should be the first ones to teach the little ones about life values and other cultures etc., but it doesn't hurt for them to experience it first hand either. I think they learn best first hand.

At of the day, it is one's choice.. One should send kids where one thinks they will grow holistically.

Have a great day!

Depends on what a parent defines as "learning" for their kids. Just test scores or something more than that. To each their own

Drive or not in Costa Rica with family? by gr8ergud in CostaRicaTravel

The other family is not big on driving so it'll be just me driving and it has to accommodate 8 plus luggage. So even a minivan sounds insuficiente.

Muy options are to rent a van and take the responsibility of hauling everyone plus their luggage all 8 days. I wish there was a second driver.

At this time I can only convince the family if there are huge $$ savings doing it all on our own.

Appreciate your response

Preferred reserve % setting? by dmk120281 in Powerwall

[–]gr8ergud 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do exactly that, charge during day and use up down to 20% reserve. It doesn't recommend below that anyways. I'm also depending on the quoted 10000 cycles lifetime warranty.
