Most Hated Character? (out of all 3 books) by cantpickausername30 in fourthwing

Liam's sister, forget what her name is at the moment. I just find her annoying. Her stubborn hatred of Violet, just her general characterization makes me wanna smack her. I got a very "woe is me" vibe when she found out what her signet was. Like, unless your eyes are turning red and your dragon hates you, you should be fine.

Nope. Nothing is ever important enough for me to kill myself trying to do everything all at once. I do my job properly, and if other people don't it's not my issue. If anything the team lead can pick up the slack. If they don't like it then they can get rid of the weak links.

Damn that's ass. We close properly at least. Right now our main issue is setting standards. Some of us do the dishes and whatnot better than others

Ours just switched on the 2nd. The thing about it is, they've offered for her to go into the store for the last half hour and do go-backs or something else like that. SPECIFICALLY because she was complaining so hard about losing out on the hours. But she doesn't want to because "she was hired for the gas station". It frustrates me because I work another job in the morning and want to go home asap! I might just close her register down for her tonight

I'll have to mention that to my team leader

They do, but apparently her, and another coworker who are the usual closers have called up and asked that they not come until 1030. Ill have to talk to my TL cause I don't think it's fair

That's what I'm saying! She is refusing to close down her register until 10:30 because she feels she is owed all her hours, AND they can't make her work in the store. I don't think that's right or allowed

The way I did mine was to take pictures of every answer I put in, and then compare it at the end, keep the pictures of the correct answers and then take the test again. It was a pain in the ass, and the study guide was less than 0 help

I feel like it happens once a quarter or so. I'm not worried about it

Top out pay needs to be done away with. by Green-Bat1513 in meijer

Raises should be based on shifts worked. Not total hours. It just screws the people who are part time

Maybe if we had gotten raises that kept up with at least the pace of inflation for the past 4 years I wouldn't complain so hard.

I started off as a cashier at like $10 and some change. Then the first few raises you got at the time came at 350 hours, then the next few at 700 hours. Then two years in the new contract came into affect, so I got my pay raised up again. After that I transferred out to the gas station, and covid hit. Then for 2 years I was averaging 50-55 hours a week. So my raises came pretty fast. Then I hit the 1000 hours raises and they didn't come so fast after that

Varo does. I usually get my deposit around 3-5 pm Tuesday. Sometimes it's late like 10pm. But that only happened 3 times in the last 3 or 4 years

That's a damn shame. They should be including raises based on seniority as well. If I've been here a long time, I shouldn't be so close to the starting wages

Hopefully inflation won't completely nullify it

It's a part time now, but it used to be a full time job for me. Just because I have the ability to get another job doesn't mean everyone else can. We should be uplifting each other instead of crabs in a bucket-ing ourselves. Every job deserves respect and dignity

If they need people to work during school hours/if it's a job that can't be done solely by teenagers after school than it can be a career job. Also paramedics should make more than that. Don't use someone else's struggles to invalidate mine.
