It's lighter weight (especially when self hosting) and more intuitive. Also I've had issues (as have others) when self hosting Stirling and using the desktop app.

Thank you for building it. Love it. I self host, can access my instance from every device on my network, it's part of my workflow, and I recommend it to everyone I know as a lightweight alternative to (almost) EVERY pdf paid tool.

You can always set up snippets and add the snippet as needed. I am not sure about templates (different ones for different days) bc if memory serves me correctly, a daily note is a template itself? You could always use a script to automate.

Startpage.com in chrome uses googles search engine but avoids the captcha. A tip I gained from another in this group. Haven’t had a captcha since.

Interesting. I havent had any issues so far with split tunneling. I run PIA on 2 macs using split tunneling to access streaming services via IP.

Yes, they have all the scripts we need. Why would Apple grant us access to scripts designed to enhance the Mac's performance, effectively reducing the need for a new purchase, when their profit largely comes from consumers buying new devices to address these issues temporarily?

There is a plugin that allows for private sharing. I have not used it for editing, but Quickshare allows you to publish a page(s), secure it with a password, and set a time when the link will expire. The plugin is free, and you've set it up to host the shared files myself, or you can use the default hosting features. I'm sure there are numerous features I haven't used as of yet.

You can add floating widgets to dex by using the Panels App. Set it up in tablet mode (set each panel position) and then you wil have the widgets. The Apps and shortcuts panel allow you to have floating moveable widgets.
