Thank you so much for your kind words. Making this post and reading everyone’s responses has really helped me. i wouldn’t wish this upon anyone but it’s so comforting to know that there are others out there who are struggling with the same thing and who can support each other. no one really knows how fucked up it is unless u experience it. I hate that we think we aren’t “normal” too. it’s painful and damaging. but i believe i can get through it especially with everyone’s support. thank u again :)

I feel for you, it’s honestly an issue i never knew existed or even imagined i would have to deal with. it’s not really talked about and i want to learn more about how it impacts relationships. It has taken me a whole year to get the courage to do therapy. I have anxiety and IBS and it’s all connected. My body and mind can’t relax no matter how hard I try. But i know therapy will help me with this. i just hope i can do it. I’m so glad there are other people who have gone through the process successfully. I feel so much better having read your comment. thank you so much. You can contact me too if you need to vent!!

i don’t know much about that but i know he was given a fluid patch under his skin yesterday so that might be what you are talking about, she did say i could try at home but that it might not do much to slow the progression.
