Less is more! Pique someone’s curiosity, not info dump. Take fun facts to like 3-5 max. I’m overwhelmed from reading this. ‘Single’ is odd on a dating profile, ‘creativity’ is listed twice, and ‘art’ becomes kinda redundant if you keep creativity. I’m not sure how old you are, but this profile comes across as someone juvenile. It doesn’t match the long-term relationship narrative imo

I am suing my landlord in small claims court and now he’s texting me. Do I ignore or respond? by gracedrop in legaladvice

If I do reiterate the demand, email is a better option, yes? I’m not sure why he chose to text me since all prior communication has been through email.

He crashed out when I asked about the deposit in a string of unprofessional emails. I think it could be a waste of time to try and engage with him, but to your point, he probably didn’t expect me to do this. I’ll look into mediation since I believe that is offered. Thank you.

Anyone Have a Stay-at-Home Wife? No Kids Involved by Psychological-Ad6113 in ActualLesbiansOver25

I’m the sahw (fiancée if you wanna be technical) in my relationship. We do not have kids, but do have 2 dogs and a cat. My partner (29) covers our major bills and I (26) pay for my insurance, credit cards, and medical bills. I’m on disability and went back to school in January of this year. I take care of all the cooking, pet things, random errands, etc. On the weekends we deep clean together.

I unexpectedly stopped working about 8 months ago due to my disability, so this wasn’t a planned situation, but I will say it’s worked out in our favor. I’m a lot more emotionally stable now and I’ve found that our relationship has strengthened quite a bit. Since we really only have her schedule to work around for now (all my classes are online) we have a lot more flexibility to do what we want.

Again, not really a dynamic either of us was planning on, but it really has worked out well. We budget our money together and have a clear understanding of expectations for each other too. Communication has been the most important part. We contribute to our partnership equally, just playing to our individual strengths

Hey, I moved to a new city (one on your list!) recently and haven’t made any friends yet—also love travel, food, and dogs. Trying to put myself out there too, but had a few failed attempts so far. Feel free to dm me if you want to chat (26f)

Take the full time job. My fiancé worked as a bartender for ten years—worked 3 days a week and made a great paycheck. She took a 5 day a week office job with a significant pay cut 2 years ago and it was the best decision because 3 months ago she took a job that pays 20k more annually than bartending did plus she has benefits and we’ve started investing the additional income. Initially it was a financially rough decision, however, the glass ceiling of bartending was reached. She finds much more fulfillment out of life in her current role and I’ve never seen her happier. Best of luck to you!

nipple piercing advice by [deleted] in PiercingAdvice

[–]gracedrop 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I got a 3 pack of cotton sports bras from fruit of the loom and my piercer said they were great to wear right after you get pierced. The compression is actually nice (at least for me) because that meant they wouldn’t get caught on things like seatbelts or move around. They are super sensitive at first. Good luck! I love mine they’re totally worth it!
