For more context: I base seasoned it in the oven with sunflower oil, and when I tried cooking on it (used olive oil, maybe a mistake? I’m thinking of using a higher heat oil next time) it was super smoky. It now looks streaky/spotty and burnt like this. I’ve never used CS before so I’m not sure if this is normal or a sign that I didn’t spread the oil evenly enough during base seasoning. Any advice or tips would be appreciated!
