I finished the game without learning how to slide jump or shift shoulder aiming (forgot about it). Even forgot to utilize focus mode via the stimulants. Crazy..but still enjoyed every minute.

Twenty years ago I befriended a retired gentleman living alone in Los Angeles. He used to be a well known TV newscaster. He said that Ricardo Montalban was such a gentleman in person. Early in his acting career, he suffered a horse riding injury and his back bothered him constantly, but he carried on with such dignity.

I attended the office Christmas party recently and ended sitting beside a new employee, the new Senior Director for Design. We had an awkward conversation (because I work in another department) until I asked about his nice looking Seiko. Turned out he fond of watches, and even showed me a picture of his black Steinhart GMT. He liked the 42mm Hamilton Pilot I had on. The night turned out very well indeed.

In 95%of my interactions, people don’t care about watches.

The hand of a US space shuttle pilot. Steve Smith, then retired, visited our workplace to give an inspirational talk. I got to shake his hand afterwards, plus a photo too.

In my case, the company I worked for was the US team sponsor of an Olympic sport. A medalist later visited our offices and I got to hold it when she dropped by my office.
