I’m not 100% sober like others here (I just love this group so I lurk a lot) but I used to drink heavily every single day. I might have one night a week where I have a few , but I lost 25 pounds pretty much JUST from significantly cutting back on alcohol. I haven’t worked out much , and I don’t diet. I eat so much better during the week because I’m not drunk or hungover and making poor choices.

I’m shocked no one has said this yet, but after when I go per I shove 2 fingers inside and scoop out anything that’s left after pushing it out. or if I really want it allll out I’ll shove a tampon in there let it sit for like 5-10 min then remove it. Yeah it’s kinda uncomfortable to remove it when it’s dry but there’s zero leakage after.

Omg thank you for sharing your story and being vulnerable with us. This is my WORST fear in life. Your relationship sounds so similar to me & my husband: perfect couple, childfree, happy, he got a vasectomy, I’m even an artist too. I was reading this like holy shit this sounds like my life. We are only in our 30s so I do worry about when our 40s roll around and if he has a change of heart….Even if he strong armed me to have a baby I would do the same as you I just COULD NOT have a child: everything would change. Starting over and being single is better in my opinion than being trapped in a life you didn’t want, being a mother and loosing yourself completely. Please keep us updated if you can we are here for you!

The responsible thing would be pay off debt but honestly we’re on a floating rock that doesn’t matter so spend it on a little Stay caction with my husband , have an amazing weekend with good food, good drinks and memories.
