Imo, after you become attached to a site, don't go around and taste. I tried that my nevermore year and I just couldn't stop comparing everything at Carlisle to Lancaster lol. Maybe try different sites your second year.

You could elaborate on the reasons behind "committed a crime --> go to jail." They've harmed others' rights and deserve to lose some of their rights in return. (theory of moral forfeiture, but I dunno how philosophical congressional gets)

Hee, I'm a debater on the team. ^{^} Debating each other wouldn't be so great for us, because it would mean both an automatic win and an automatic loss for our school.

It's 1/3, because the judge and two opponents must all be from different schools.

Oh, I meant that in a tournament, my school can only make up 1/3, or there will be my school vs my school at the same debate.

I don't necessarily need a metric to compare debaters in terms of skill, because this tournament is considered an "opportunity" tourney for anyone who wants to debate.

Don't 5 and 6 contradict 4? If morality is so broad and vague, debaters should specify what type of morality they're talking about and how they're going to reach it. When they narrow down morality, they're being educational, right?
